There is no way to adjust or turn off the sound on the T710 transparent metronome. The ringtones can be adjusted to 0, 2, 3, 4 or 6. The tuning knob can be turned to 0 in order to turn off the ringtone, but the rhythm will still tick, but the mute will not change. Please accept my apology if my answer does not

I like the sound of the metronome more than a digital one. As a result of shipping damage, the base was broken. It only takes a little super glue and epoxy to fix it. I would rate it higher if the packaging was better.
