It is true. I have a cover for it. An electronic slide switch allows the cover to be locked securely.
As soon as I use it, I wind it up.

Selected User Reviews For Wittner Metronome (801M mahogany matte finish)
There's nothing on. This is not made as nicely as it used to be, even though it still has that vintage appearance. I agree that it does not quite live up to the review. That's how they used to price things in the old days! Thin veneers of wood are what make up wood, but the rest It has the quality I would expect from an instrument that costs I did not spend There will be a return!.
Is easy to use. Materials and finishing are nice. It will stay in your collection for a long time.
In the course of teaching my granddaughter to play the piano, I wanted her to share some of the experiences I had when I learned to play the piano and loved it. Purchasing her first metronome, however, proved more challenging. As a grandmother, I decided to look on the Internet and found this model, which immediately became the metronome I wanted for my granddaughter. The metronome is made of plastic, so this was not the experience I wanted her to have. The program has helped her learn the time value of each note in different pieces, as well as how to execute them at the speed the composer intended. She loves it and it has been a great help for her.
The fit and finish of this product are excellent. A piece that looks old and A rhythm that is accurate. It would be an excellent conversation piece or a good choice for anyone with a musical bent.
Refunding me the money for the item was a great experience.
This is similar to one I remember using when I was a kid, though it weighs about a third less. In addition to doing what it's supposed to do, it cranks easily and looks good.
It's well made and well worth every penny you spend on it.
I really like the piece and it works Added to our walnut upright piano from the 1920s, it is one of our classics.
