This is a nice metronome
5/5

As you might expect from Yamaha, the device works well. Metronomes are quality products at a good price. Instructions are included on how to keep them in good working order. A wind-up metronome sounds like a tic toc. It is made of plastic but is well made and tick tocs. In particular, it is very By doing so, you will be able to readily hear it when wearing My method of using it is as follows. The only exception to this would be if you are trying not to disturb other people. If that is the case, you could use an electronic metronome with headphones. In cases where the volume of the sound is a major problem, you might wish to place the device at a distance. Upon turning off the bell, the device marks off time boundaries within measures, allowing the user to choose when to stop measuring. Be sure you are getting the sound you want from electronic metronomes if you decide to choose one of these. There were some electronic devices I saw with a single frequency of beeping and no options for alternate tones. Another point is that there are only three legs on the device, which makes it difficult to stabilize. One of the other things you should do is to avoid exposing a metronome to direct sunlight as it will damage it over time. It was a quality paper, regardless of either of those points. In light of this, I have rated it as.

It is made in Thailand, and I am a little disappointed in the quality of the metronome
5/5

However, as others mentioned earlier, it is loud, which is what I want. was a bit disappointed in the fact that it was made in Thailand, when I thought it should have been It is true that metronomes are always very good regardless of where they are made. The new metronome is great after I had to give up my old one. A stopper is included with the metronome, which prevents it from moving while you are traveling. Travel is a major part of my job, so this feature is really useful for me. Metronomes are indispensable to me as a musician, both for practice and for everyday living. Every time I travel around, I keep it in my music bag. The oldest metronome in my collection has worked for 22 years and continues to do so. From Japan, it was a Nikko. At this point, I really want to see how long the Yamaha.

This is excellent
5/5

Not fancy, but in a pleasing and practical manner - A nice tone of voice. I am glad it took me so long to receive it, but it was worth the wait. It's nice to have a metronome instead of a digital one - it's a lot more pleasing In the past, I've used both options There are times when using a metronome while you are working on a piece is just fun. On the subject of physical metronomes, this is likely the best buck for the buck. In addition, I'll be sure to run a digital metronome inline when practicing guitar at night, whether it be through my Yamaha THR or Vox Amplug, depending on how big my setup is. 2) It is nice to have a quiet environment for practicing. While there are multiple metronomes for me to choose from, I usually use this one on a regular basis during the day. It is a great pleasure to see Yamaha make As I look around, I realize how much Yamaha gear I actually own. I'm on my way to purchase a Yamaha SLG200NW silent guitar If you're looking for a computer system for your baby, that particular model is what you want to get), I am thrilled! That metronome is really cool I also had a great time with the packaging.

I am able to pick up fingerpicking on my guitar because of this
5/5

My first experience with a mechanical metronome was several years ago. While I have used the software and electronic ones, they have never been my favorite. My mind went crazy when I saw those. The brand and the reviews were why I purchased this one. When I got the item, I thought perhaps I ought to return it, as the bell was barely audible. In addition to my tinnitus, it blended in. Once I started actually using it to practice my guitar, I realized that the visual of the swinging arm, as well as the ticktock sound, is all I really need to play this instrument well. Particularly in learning some complex (to me) finger picking patterns, it's really helping me improve my timing. It has been a dream of mine to be able to play these styles of music, and now I am finally able to. There is no doubt about it that this unit is a keeper.

It is the best looking, but mediocre metronome available
3/5

There are two Yamaha MP-45As available A hybrid mechanical metronome, like the 90 mechanical metronome, is in my opinion the most sophisticated and well sculpted of all similar products available. There is an ideal balance between the width at the top and the one at the bottom. Flat tops make the metronome look more elegant because they lower the overall height of the piece and make the top wider. A tasteful degree of rounding is present on the corners that are under the removable cover. Metronome's tempo measurement scale is much wider than those of other similar products, so not only is it easier to set the tempo, but it also looks very good. Sadly, I cannot get past the appearance of this product to appreciate it. The first thing I noticed about it after I took it out of its box is that it was made of cheap materials. A number of other reviewers have commented on how light this metronome is. Plastic is evidently used for the body. Only the bell and the counter weight at the bottom of the pendulum shaft are made of metal. Opening the bottom cover, I found the only metal parts to be the shell and the counter weight. There are no mechanical parts in the movement, only plastic cogs and axes. As well as parts visible to the eye, like the spring, there are those that I have a lot of doubts about the durability of the mechanism due to the predominantly plastic movement. Based on the materials, the quality of workmanship of this metronome is no better than standard. When switching the beat selector, you are left with an uncertain feeling. The whole movement inside the body is shaking so strongly that it appears the spring isn't firmly attached to it. There are two metronomes to choose from the Yamaha MP-70 and the Yamaha MP-80 There is no such number as 90. As measured by a digital metronome, I found that it started quite well but then went off beat shortly afterwards. The beats are, nevertheless, fairly even in their own right at every tempo. In spite of its lack of accuracy, it can still be useful Performance is not a science that can be characterized by precise measurements. In the performance of any group, you will be able to keep tempo and beat if you can flow this metronome. There is also a downside to this metronome that has the power reserve. I tested a fully wound spring at 90 bpm and it lasted approximately 24 minutes. In comparison to other manufacturers, that's less than half the power capacity of some As indicated by some earlier reviews, this product sold for $45 on this web page in 2017, and was said to sell for "less than $50" On June 20, 2020, I ordered a digital copy of a book for A US$59 list price was applied to my delivery before it arrived at my door. are a reflection of the popularity of this product.

All in all, I have some issues with the Yamaha MP-31. The following two reasons still lead me to retain it This product appeals to my aesthetic senses and I have not been able to find an alternative that matches it. It would be nice if a metronome had the same form factor as the Yamaha MP-07 It is known that if I were to buy a metronome which was similar to model MC90, but fitted with a wood body and a metal movement with a more precise beat selector as well as a broader power reserve, I would pay five times as much.
