Questions & Answers

In comparison to the plastic version, does the wood Super Mini sound different?

However, I haven't heard the plastic version on the other hand, the wooden one makes a strong and satisfying "tick tock" that doesn't bother me too much.

What country does it come from?

The German-speaking world

Is it possible to run it on one winding for a long period of time?

My experiences are based on practice sessions, so take them for what they are I have practiced for a little over 30 minutes at the 4/4 tempo setting without having to rewind.

But it has a nice and small sound
4/5

Despite its small size and compact design, this compact sound system is quite good. To find out if it's loud enough for my violin, I'll have to test it again tomorrow. I have a very sensitive ear, so I can tell immediately that it's not very loud. My ears were immediately alerted to the metronome when I began playing In terms of time length, the ticks for when the pendulum moves left and the ticks for when it moves right differ SLIGHTLY. There is a very subtle difference, but if you lay it out, it looks like a dotted crotchet and a quaver, instead of two crotches. There might be something I can do to make it even somehow. I'll check. Anyway, since it's perfect for traveling, I don't expect this small little guy to be perfect. If it can play loud enough, then it's OK with me. In the future, I probably will purchase the more powerful pendulum metronomes, if I think I need them for anything other than accurate timing.

Edit A little winding up of the metronome helped me get somewhat more even beats. When it is fully wound, it seems more accurate, and as it is winding down, it begins to dissipate and become softer. Whenever the beats are too uneven, I'll just wind up 100% anytime they get too odd. The slower beats were more obvious that they are uneven, so if I needed a very accurate beat (eg to pace for my exams), then I'll just wind up completely. Anyway, since it is a compact metronome, it does what it is supposed to do, albeit in a small form factor Trying to be a perfectionist, I tried to figure out how to fix the unevenness, so suddenly it had to do with the pendulum's angle and weight. Due to my inability to change the angle, I took Bluetack and put it on one side of the pendulum while listening to This is where the unevenness should be brought out the most (by playing a slower beat). This means I have even more Please note, however, that after adding on the extra "weight", you will see the bpm increase slightly more With a digital metronome I was able to find out that my beats were 3bpm faster than what the metronome indicated. Therefore, it is up to you to figure it out!.

The machine arrived in perfect condition
5/5

It was exactly as described in the ad. Wood from a real tree. Metal as it should be. Plastics will not be used. It should be noted that I have not tested the accuracy of its rating marks. I have a tip for you If I grab my violin besides the metro, it may be a little difficult to stop it one-handed with slipping a bar under its catch at the top (often I In other words, if the door is closed just a little, the swing arm will stop swinging once it touches the door. is loud enough to be heard even when playing music that has no clicks An instrument with a muted sound. The reason I bought it was that it was a real machine without too A wooden frame and metal joists are the only important parts.

Metronome is a cool little device
5/5

Metronome is a cool little device. It has been a tradition/classic choice for me to select Wittner. 1900's larger one and so I was delighted to find the smaller version that had the same tasteful look and sounded as good as the original. In the background for mandolin and piano, this is not so loud that it's too distracting, but it's loud enough to create a lovely atmosphere. I hope to use this for a long time and pass it along to future generations.

I had been trying to find something like this
5/5

Personally I am not a fan of digital metronomes, but for my purposes I needed something with a small footprint. I love the way this works! The size of the guitar case is small enough to fit in my backpack or guitar case. It was warned that it wouldn't be loud enough in several reviews, but I found that this wasn't true. There's enough noise for my wife in the other room to hear it. The accuracy of the report was criticized by one When it's off, I can't tell, and I probably wouldn't need it in the first place if I knew. After several weeks of use I'm still properly impressed with the performance of this gadget, though I have to admit I agonized over the price. German engineering isn't cheap, but I've come to realize that it's worth every penny.

and it's small enough to fit It is beautiful and the function is great. It is well-made and of pleasing quality. The only thing I noticed when I first bought it was its mini size, but that is what I like about it the most. Having the ability to play music on the go is great. A surprisingly clear and loud sound is heard consistently across the room, even at the far end. To give you a sense of scale, I included pictures next to an iPhone 7 plus.

A well-made, compact, and accurate product
4/5

The price is a bit high compared to other options, but I cannot stand electronic metronomes with beeps. Ideally, I was looking for something that will easily fit into my guitar case, is well made, and performs well. This looks and feels like it will last for many years to come. As well as the finishing, the tick is nice. One of its bigger brothers may end up being the better option for me.

I like the sound of the acoustic piano
5/5

The keyboard is smaller and less powerful than expected, but it may not be a bad thing. Whenever I play a song or practice piece, I have to wind. For longer pieces (6+ pages), the piece may need to be wound at the middle.

A tiny one
5/5

Still, it's a very well-made product. Metronome is a cool little device. The packaging is tiny, but the quality is excellent. Even its small size is more than sufficient to produce decent sound.
