There are two more I bought because it's such an outstanding little light. As a night shift officer, I work in an operations monitoring center, where even though 75% of the overhead fluorescent light bulbs have been removed, no one likes the horrible glare that these bulbs create, so we turn the lights off and reduce the monitor brightness. Nevertheless, a small amount of light is still needed at a person's desk, and these lamps are perfect for that purpose. It provides the perfect amount of glow for my work cubicle and on full power I can comfortably read when lit. I have ordered two additional sets and plan on placing them at either end of my desk for more 'glow' effects since my current set is clipped to a monitor. In addition, they come with a long cable (about 4 feet? b) a micro USB cable that acts as a charging cable. As I haven't replaced the batteries yet, I will probably use rechargeable or lithium batteries since this is one of those things that, if it isn't actively used, you will forget until the battery leaks may ruin the device. (The other batteries will not leak).

I tried it for the first time and it worked fine. * It is a nice design the arms seem to hold the lights pretty well (at least in the limited tests carried out). There is not much difference between the lights (when they are working) and the ambient lighting. The cons are At the second and third time of testing, one side of the light did not work. Despite the left side seeming to be in good shape, the right side is dead already. The connection doesn't seem to be working for me, but I'm not sure whether it's a bad connection or what. There is a slightly loose connection when attaching the clip to thin surfaces (e. g. If you have one, than put it on the At least when there are enough pages to grip it properly, it may work better when clamped to a book. My minor gripe is that it would be nice to have another "even more dim" option for situations when minimal (but just enough) light is required. *A minor niggle I think it would be nice to leave the lights on the dim setting permanent rather than always having to go through all of the setting options (to turn it on/off). The bottom line is that it has proven very quickly that it does not want to work. I'm really disappointed because it would otherwise be an adequate solution for the job. Upon returning it, I will provide a credit note.

Goosenecks, lighting, and battery housing were all nice, though the built quality of the clamp and battery housing was insubstancial Par. II. While the clamp worked on a book or something horizontally, it was less effective when clamping it to a bookshelf, an audio rack, etc. The clamp was not able to hold the unit in its position when clamped to anything vertical. A swinging downward motion would cause it to fall. As a second concern, the user experience was not great. It is necessary to alternate through the different levels of brightness in order to turn the lights off. If only there were some more controls with variable brightness and fewer button clicks, I would have preferred it.

It is an extremely bright light. The application looks good to me. I wish stalks were a little longer and would hold their position more rigidly when curved in a tight spot. I like that you can use both battery and AC Turning off the lights is as simple as pulling the plug if you leave the batteries out. That way, it isn't necessary to fumble with the two small switches. The minor deficiencies are the reason for deducting only one star.

This is an extremely versatile e-reader, with an on/off switch concealed. My favorite clip light is these. To begin with, I appreciate that they work with either a battery or a plug. Various brightnesses can be found on them. Their flexible design allows them to clip onto thick plastic music stands even with no problem. Only a few cons are listed here It would be better if the battery pack were at the bottom It can be placed that way, but it takes time and so the lights do not extend as far. (So your music won't scroll forward) In addition, the on/off switch is nowhere to be found. When I set this up for someone and watch them spend 10 minutes searching, I admit I get a kick out of it. However, it ought to be in a different color or in a better position.

In order to keep my trumpet bag safe, I needed a music stand light that would provide plenty of light, yet would be small enough for me to easily store and transport. It suits my needs beautifully and is the one I decided upon because it seemed to be the most suited for my purposes. Because of the lighting configuration, it is very easy to coil the goosenecks into a small circle and tuck them into my bag, and the light fixture does not add much weight to the other stuff I need to carry. This light is perfect for me, and I recommend it to others. In light of the fact that I have only recently purchased it, I cannot comment on battery life yet.

Works like a charm and arrived in excellent condition. This is a practical and lightweight item. Adjustable and bright, the lights are each adjustable. I haven't used it on any gigs yet, but I tried it on my music stand and it works just fine. This light should be able to last for a long time since the light is LED, and I can plug it into a USB port for when I'm using it next to my DJ table with soundboard. I can't Following up with this after using it for a while on gigs is on the agenda.
