In the first five minutes following surgery, he died. It was a very exciting purchase for me. Given the price of this lamp, I expected it to be well made. It is unfortunate that the dimmer switch is incredibly cheaply constructed. As a matter of fact, it was so cheap, it broke the lamp when it was plugged in for the first time. I have a few problems with the dimming There are several problems with the switch. 1) The connection to the lamp is flimsy and doesn't work properly. I run into this issue quite often, which caused my lamp to short out after 5 minutes of being plugged 1) The switch only has about 3" of cable, so it has to sit right next to the lamp on top of your piano or near Despite the short cable, the switch is not able to lay flat on the piano. The short cable also makes the switch visible on top of the piano (ugly) and it is not possible to have it 3) The switch simply isn't functioning. It is very simple to construct, but the connections are weak and the switch is not designed to enable this lamp to function properly. I ended up with an incredibly expensive paperweight after this shorted my lamp in just five minutes. There is no longer a light on the lamp. There is no light from the LED lights, instead they flicker and turn on very dimly. As well as the dimmer, it no longer functions. As a result of the cheap electronics, the final verdict is that this is a total waste of money. A cheap paperweight will be all you have left. A piano teacher like me would expect better from this brand. I'm disappointed that a once-reliable brand has become less reliable with time. Brands that used to sell high-quality items are now selling items of poor quality. Despite the reputation, don't believe everything you read. I would suggest that you spend your money elsewhere since this lamp is not well constructed.
Because of the good reviews, I spent a little more on this light, and I'm not regretting it. According to the other reviews, the game lives up to the hype The coverage is nice and even. I am so happy that a dimmer was included. The lighting has a low profile, so it won't be distracting to the artwork hanging above my piano. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the height of the light can't be changed. While the light itself can be swiveled sideways horizontally and back and forth to adjust the angle of light over the music, it is not adjustable up and down (which I would prefer to It is a bit too low in height for me to comfortably turn sheet music pages without hitting the light when I have a studio piano. To raise the light about 3/4", I added some felt pads to the bottom and it worked perfectly. Photos show what the light looked like after being raised.

There is one of each lamp model in my collection, and this is great There is a handy knob for adjusting the brightness of the LED light, which makes this fairly user-friendly. Among the adjustments one can make are Move the lamp to the front of the piano top and tilt the lamp head downward towards the music stand. *Other reviews had mentioned that it tilted the wrong way but I did not find that to be the case A tilt is present (toward the music and away from your eyes - this is by design). I tried to think of a reason, but I couldn't.
Why in the world would you spend so I'm in love with it. The light makes any piano look so much better, and it's such an instant upgrade. When you have sheet music, you can see it much easier than if you had an all-aboard The lamp has a specific purpose. The words of a composer I respect are, "This lamp really needs to be purchased. ". The lamp shown here is for the Console Piano. My Yamaha P2 is shown in the pictures. It makes me feel so proud and grateful to have such a wonderful instrument in my house. Music lovers can enjoy the sound in a way that is exemplar of what Yamaha intended for them. It all comes together with my Cocoweb Piano Lamp - the cherry on top. I am amazed! I am able to cover the keyboard and especially the music with the warm LED lights whether I am using four pages simultaneously or two pages at a time. Owning a black piano, I have come to the conclusion that "Black is not only a color, it's a hobby" and this lamp will display the dust to keep me accountable for maintaining it. The beautiful instrument and lamp I have to show off to those who visit my home have overwhelmed me and I am profoundly thankful to them for such gifts.
