A gift from my mother two years ago gave me this case. There is no latch on the case that I remember. Two years ago, I am not really aware if there was an option for the nylon case - It was beautiful how the cherry case turned out.

Reviewing before purchasing would have been a smart move. There is only a black cover for the wooden case here -- the wooden case itself is not included. The purchase I thought I was making was exactly Purchasing should be done with caution! The pictures all show the wooden case and only ONE of them shows the product it is selling. I know I should have read the details and been better informed when purchasing, but all of the pictures included the wooden case. The case seems to be good and of good quality to me.
Having read the other comment here, I agree that deceptive advertising is a problem. There is no doubt that the buyer should be aware of what he is buying based upon the details in the details, but the fact that only the cherry case is shown in the photo and the nylon case is not included in four shots that show the box, clearly indicates this is It is absolutely unethical and a rip-off, and I will take full responsibility for it.
In the description and illustration, the box was described and shown as having a felt lining and handle covered in a wooden frame. Upon receipt of the case cover, all I received was the There was no need for a case cover as I was just looking for a baton case. In selling the product, I feel like the seller is taking advantage of bait and switch tactics. There is nothing good to say about this!.
As indicated in the picture below, I found only the black case, which I am very disappointed about. Additionally, I think this order would benefit from at least one star.
According to the picture, I assumed I was going to receive a wooden case, but I received a padded case instead.
I love the color red - 2 regular-sized batons can be held inside. No longer do I need to place my baton in a cardboard carton!.
