It worked great and I wrapped tape around it before I put it on. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the size was not for my need this was 6mm. It still looked good and it worked fine, but I didn't give it all five stars. If a copy has already been received, do not send it again.
While this is a very solid product, it will only fit my Yamaha cymbal stands, which is why I requested a review of it. Does not fit on my older Ludwig stands or the one brand I have. Fitment is up to you. Stacking arms like this are a great idea. It is likely that I will never need another.

For the drum riser, it is ideal for providing extra space. Splash cymbals are what I use them for. They may be able to handle larger cymbals, but I'm not certain.
I was able to add more cymbals to my set since it worked great.
