Boom arm made of heavy duty steel
4/5

A maximum angle of 45 degrees is possible with this arm it cannot be adjusted in any other way Because of the 50 degree difference, I did not rate it 5 stars, but in terms of quality, I would give it all the stars. Even though there are ways to work around the restricted angles of adjustment, you're dealing with the extremes of the arms adjustments and it isn't worth risking a $300 cymbal doing so. There are some arms that I have stolen off of cymbal stands which enable me to adjust all angles, but I suspect that it costs As far as I know, I have always been able to get My recording studio uses several booms like these (I own several) on a rack system that is approximately 20 feet high. When it comes to rattling, very few people mention this. Ever since I switched over to the rack system for mounting up our gear, I have zero rattle or noise from our equipment. This is a BIG consideration for As you might have figured out if you read any of my other reviews I've been a fan of Gibraltar hardware and Amazon Prime. Neither one has Hope everyone has a good day, and good music to each and every one.

I've used it with my Alesis DM10X without any problems
4/5

It took me a while to modify my Alesis DM10 X electronic drum kit. As the stock hardware allowed me to place my ride cymbal at a closer distance, I prefer to do so. In order to suit my needs, I needed a long boom. That was the reasoning behind my order for this boom arm. on the Gibraltar is a little heavier than you are used to from Gibraltar but still is a very solid design. I would say it's definitely more durable than the stock hardware you get with The hardware quality is excellent, but there are a couple of This is *br_*br_- In relation to the drum rack, the Gibraltar boom stand is slightly bigger than what the drum rack can accommodate. My objective was to use the boom arm on my electronic set's arm stand, so I removed the boom arm from it. With a little loosening, it fits just fine. I now have a stand base I cannot utilize, but that's a minor inconvenience. Like me, if you're interested in modifying your set, you might want to check out the Gibraltar Boom Arm for Drum Rack. I think you might be better off with this approach. This is *br_*br_- I wanted to make the boom arm as long as possible, but it is not quite as long as I expected. I'm in charge of this one now. In my opinion, if you are like me and you are looking for a longer boom out there, you should double check that as well.

It is a good boom arm in its basic form
4/5

Using this on a tom stand with a clamp for an additional tube was my primary reason for buying it. This arm works perfectly for this project and is made well and looks nice. It isn't the highest end piece with respect to features, so it is referred to as Instead of a separate wing nut for the angle of the boom arm and a separate one for the boom arm itself, there is only one locking nut that holds it in place. It is a little more difficult to set this one up, but it is not terribly difficult. In terms of the cymbal itself, the tilter is of a standard type with teeth on either side. Even so, the teeth are pretty fine, so it can be adjusted pretty well. While basic in nature, the product does what it needs to do, and it is solidly constructed, so it should last for several years. This may not be the best choice for someone who sets up and takes down their set frequently (produces gigs). The simplicity of the adjustment could get frustrating over time. However, for someone who leaves their drum set setup and in one place, there is no reason not to get this.

Triangles do not exist in this situation
5/5

I just want to be clear. As you can see in the picture, this is a hideaway cymbal arm. These percussion instruments may seem confusing to you, but I'm just saying. Is that true?.

The cymbal boom is awesome
5/5

This Gibraltar standard boom replaced a broken cymbal In fact, I purchased two additional booms that were still functional, but probably needed to be replaced soon because I was so impressed by the quality of the book. This product has worked very well for me and I recommend it without any reservations.

It is excellent
5/5

Great fit for my 20" Z Custom Ride (very heavy) in my right tom hole! The hardware is very sturdy, nice and thick. As for the down piece, it is 3/4" in diameter, the same as in The bass drum on this boom would crack before any of the other parts.

At a great price, this is an excellent product
5/5

This clamp is very sturdy and can be used with any rack or You just need to keep in mind that the boom rotation is limited by the teeth of the rotator, but any person with expertise can adjust the testing equipment in a way to round around This is a 5 star rating! I am definitely going to order another one!.
