Questions & Answers

Is there any difference in diameter between the down rod and this downrod? The number I have is 1 The twin toms need 1 1/4 of a rod and most clamps cannot accommodate a rod of that size. Can these be used with a 1-inch boot What are the benefits of 1/4 downrods?

Although I didn't know if the clamp could hold a tube of 1 1/4 in diameter, I tried them anyway. With a Latin percussion tube of 1 1/4 in diameter, the fit is good. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Can these be used on the Roland A few of my black clamps have broken, and I would rather have chrome ones. How are you?

Roland racks have a diameter I am not sure of. There are only a few Gibraltar racks. Five inches wide or one and a half inches wide. These racks are the same as the tama ones. As long as the diameter of your roland is the same, the chrome version should be a great choice. In terms of appearance, it gives a better look than black.

How will these fit into Gibraltar racks? Are there certain models that they'll fit into?

It is difficult for me to say for The answer is yes, I believe. There are no differences in the circumference of the rack. The pieces I combined worked on both. I had two different parts and I combined them.

In the picture, there appears to be four clamps. Do you get that many?

I really like the look of the chrome and how strong it holds

This is solid Gibraltar quality, with no noticeable difference between the black style clamps and the chrome style clamps. The chrome looks really good and the hold is exceptional. Only con is that it costs more than other brands. But Gibraltar makes the best racks on the market, and their products last for.

The clamps and rail system is the only all chrome system that I have found. The only drawback is that it is more expensive than other available options Due to how tight you have to clamp your drums, they put little kinks in your rail, so make sure you know where you want your stuff to go. There's no way to beat that budget either, 4 clamps plus the memory locks at that price made me smile.
