Questions & Answers
It ought to function properly.
It certainly would, though the more tube mass you have, the more stability you'll have while playing. Personally, I'd rather have less weight in my hardware bag than the added stability that a heavier gauge of mount provides. Personally, I believe it is a matter of taste.
Selected User Reviews For Gibraltar Mounting Arm for Electronic Drum Module
I have a Roland TD-80 synthesizer. This arm has 25 mounted on it, and it's fantastic. It isn't particularly long, but it is highly adjustable and durable. I prefer to place the module in the middle of my hi-fi system. Tom with hat and rack, as shown. This arm performs admirably in its intended role. You might want to use a different bracket if you have a big kit and need to hang the trigger module off to the side. For my 4- It's the ideal size, a piece kit with a 20" kick.
This item has been placed on order. Instead, I got a Gibraltar cymbal arm with the wrong bar code. I kept the arm (you can never have too many) and went out and bought the original item. Mistakes are bound to occur. I merely wanted to issue a cautionary statement.
It's a little short; if it were three inches longer, it'd be a five-star purchase.
Of course, it's fantastic! Warningbr>This clamp is too small to attach to a Gibraltar Rack Pipe. br>However, it will attach to any cymbal stand. br>The only clamp with more options/flexibility in terms of weird placements is the SC-100. Because it has an omni-directional camera, the EA 300 is a great choice. ball.
I wish it was a little longer and had knurling all the way around the rod. The clamps will slide over the rod at the non-stretching end. The ends are knurled. Also, make sure you have a sturdy stand that won't tip over when you add the weight of an electronic module to one side; still, at this price point, it appears to be the best option for this type of mounting.
Superb craftsmanship!.
Excellent tool.
My electronic pad fits perfectly in this mount. It's a solid piece of equipment that easily sets up.
