The purpose of this purchase was to lay it There was a lot of movement in my drum set pedals because I have an electronic drum set. They were also starting to do some damage to the thicker carpet. The drum rug was just right for my kit. It was big enough to fit everything. Additionally, the material in which the carpet is made sticks to the Velcro like crazy, so now my pedals are stuck. The rug is truly a blessing in disguise, as I am no longer having any issues. Velcro hooks lock in tightly because the soft top of the rug runs along the hooks, almost like the sides of soft towels. It's a great buy! It has been up for about a week, and I have no complaints about the rug. It feels nice, stays in place during set up (which was one of my biggest gripes about the old one) and it fits my kit pretty well as you can see from the pictures. From the photos, you can see that the rug also has a rubber backing, and there is velcro on the back that allows it to be rolled up for transportation. Overall, if you need a rug for gigging, this is the one.
Nice clean look for the site as a whole. The black pinstripe pattern is good for the majority of people. The rubber backing fits most people well. During the manufacturing process, the edge stitching and loop material are very weak, which is a major issue with the item. From the moment the material was pulled away from the package, it unraveled completely. It is difficult for me to think of a gig with this edge getting snagged on anything at all. This is my one and only chance to have the company get this right and I will leave a follow-up.
