This set of sticks is nice looking and feels good, though I've noticed that they become a little too 'tacky' I get a humid feeling on days that are very humid. I still find them to be the right Furthermore, Guitar Center won't be carrying them in their NYC stores anymore, while Sam Ash will. The length of these is similar to that of Vic Firth's Acorn Tip 5A, but it is better quality wood.

Although I am not a great drummer or a pro, I am a good LOL But I believe these Stix are certainly a great set. have a lot of fun using these and I particularly like that they are colored differently from regular wood Although they seem balanced pretty well, any drummer worth his salt can use sticks that aren't perfectly matched with a kit and still blow the roof off of it! There are those who are too picky about their food. Tico Torres -- the drummer with Bon Jovi -- once told me that when they were starting out he filled in for them in a small bar, using a screwdriver and a pair of pliers because he didn't have any drum sticks. It appears that I ordered five pairs of Jack Dejohnette sticks, but only received four pairs and one pair of the Veteran Hammer If the sticks were regular vater sticks, I wouldn't be bothered as I do use them occasionally, but these are useless, as there is no tip on them.
