I am 27 at the time of this writing. This is an absolutely amazing product in terms of durability. Some days I play Heavy Metal for at least an hour, and some days I play for at least one hour. There is a good chance that these sticks will withstand quite a bit of abuse before she begins to chip away, let alone fracture. My daughter, myself, and her band instructor are all surprised and disappointed at this development. Since she has been taught to store the drum sticks in her stick pouch, and because she has always been taught to store them in a temperature-controlled classroom, her drum sticks have been well-taken care of. Since both sticks were purchased recently, we are all a little surprised the wood has splintered so soon. It is my understanding that splintering doesn't occur until a few years after a tree is planted. Considering how new she is to percussion, my daughter did not expect that she would not deal with this correctly, so she did not inform me as early as she should have. It would certainly be appreciated if the distributor of these sticks could replace the faulty sticks that we currently have. Thank you for considering our situation and request at the moment.

There was only one pair of drumsticks in the workout kit so I had to buy a few more for my sisters when I bought the CD for me and my sister to use. These drumsticks were not designed to be used for workouts, but they are really great! The drumsticks are made of hard rubber and are very durable because they are for rock. When I workout with Poundit, these are banged every day on the floor and against each other. I have no complaints about their grip and they look as good as new even after heavy use. The drumsticks I use for workouts are not as thick as my actual ones, but they work just as well and are around a third the price.

I have found that the Vic Firth 5B is the perfect stick to use. The weight and size of these shoes are appealing to me. It doesn't feel right to use thinner sticks. The 5B wood is usually the wood I play with In addition to the nylon-tipped sticks, I grabbed a pair of the 5BN because I kept a Remo Silentstroke head on my practice pad and read that those heads withstand nylon-tipped sticks Their tips fit wood better than their tips fit sticks. There has never been a bad pair of Vic Firth sticks in my possession. However, even their bargain Nova sticks were generally pretty darn good, although I have largely moved on from that era.

When Amazon told me they were delivered, I had to walk up to two hours round trip in snow and 7° F weather to get them. Drumming has been an interest of mine since I was 6 (20 now) and as I'll be buying an actual kit later, I procured myself some sticks to practice with. These 5A sticks are a good fit for me because I usually play in a rock and metal style. Their weight makes them very sturdy, they fit nice in my somewhat large hands, and they should be very durable. The only real criticism I had was there is a dent/nick on one stick near the tip, and I'm unsure if Having done the first three on my "homemade" kit, I have to say I'm really enjoying it.

One of my favorite stick brands has always been Vic Firth, but for the extra length of the extreme 5AN sticks, they are simply incredible. This is the second set I bought in 2011, and I am still using them. I use the hymnals in church, even though I am not in an actual band. In contrast to an active musician, I am more of a hobbyist and do not use my pair as much as I should. I find them to feel solid and to fit well in my hands, though, like all uncoated sticks, the sweat on my hands can make them slippery. A bit of stick wax and some grip gloves fix this just fine. The sticks have more of a rounded, bead-shaped end It is in the shape of a life wood tip instead of a teardrop. These sticks are exactly what I was looking for and would recommend them to drummers who are putting them to more abusive use, but only buy more than one pair if you plan on using them more aggressively.

Since I discovered the Vic Firth, it's become my favorite stick. They all feel good when I play and I use several different sizes. With these RockN's, you really get a killer sound, and the nylon tips brighten up the cymbal sound more than a wooden tip would. It depends on what you like. I think these sticks are best for players who like to hit hard and create lots of little splinters at the same time. As of yet, I don't remember breaking any of them. All I have to say is that I grind them down until they are chewed up, but I have never broken Yeah, those sticks are good. I'm BAM POW BOOSH and I'm outta here!.
