With these heads, there isn't much of a buzz.
Only the bottom of a snare drum requires this head. The material is extremely light and produces a sharp, crisp sound. For the top head on a snare drum, you can use almost any head, but it's critical that it's on the bottom under the strainer/snare (the spring-like feature that stretches across the bottom of the snare drum).

I bought two of these to replace a couple of buzzing snares. I used one of them on the first snare and fine-tuned it. I checked the drums around me for any sympathetic buzzing on my snare and found that it was almost gone. With a little tweaking on the snare and my 13-inch tom, I was able to eliminate the unwanted snare buzz. My snare seemed even more sensitive when played near the rim at softer "ghost notes," which was an added bonus even if it was only perceived. Nice!.
Tom's snare buzz was at least 50% lower! More wires, fewer wires, and twisted wires have all been tried, and this has made the most difference. Of course, you'll still need to know how to tune your drums properly. br>br>Pearl Vision Maple kit, with no high-end or expensive drums.
It was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to make a standard snare drum sound deep and ring-free. Getting a more professional sound for the snare-drum is highly recommended. The importance of the side head cannot be overstated.
For the past 15 years, I've been using Remo and Evans snare side heads and decided to give this guy a try. These heads will turn your snare drum into a work of art. If you play rock, punk, or metal, this is the head for you. Have a go at it. Take a chance on it. You will be able to tell the difference.
drum heads on the sides I also like the snare markers because they protect the head from snare wire damage while also assisting me in keeping my snare wires even on both ends of the head. STRONGLY suggested! br>br>I'm not sure what else to say.
It's a good resonant head, but it doesn't do much to keep the snare buzz at bay. That could be due to the way my snare drum is set up, but it is what it is.
Boogies are also a thing. Etc. I've never been let down by Aquarians.
