Selected User Reviews For Ludwig Atlas Telescoping Cymbal Arm
These Ludwig snippets are top-notch. They have a nice, sturdy feel to them, and the chrome is nice, smooth, and shiny. It is highly recommended for whatever purpose one may find it to be useful for. These are typically used to add a splash or a crash to one of my existing boom stands. You should be fine as long as your feet are properly positioned to handle the weight. Simply ensure that the boom or rod to which you are attaching it is 12mm or 12mm in diameter. 7mm. These are made to go on DW-style booms and rods. Others of that size, I'm sure, will fit as well.
Plating that isn't cheaply made will last a long time.
It appeals to me. All of the Ludwig Atlas hardware was already in my possession, which was fantastic. This is a fantastic addition to the package.
That's all I've got to say on the subject. This is a fantastic addition for any gigging drummer looking to lighten their load. This item is extremely durable. I was able to get everything off the ground by using ATLAS hardware instead of tripods. It has also aided in the quickening of setup and teardown times.
One of these on each of my floor toms, with Atlas mounts replacing one top lug on each drum; no more stands on that side of the kit, and the quality is excellent!.
The Atlas Mount lug accepts this telescoping cymbal arm. I mounted it on a floor tom to save the weight and space that a separate cymbal stand would have taken up.
