My father owned this vintage Contessa Banjo. It could have been one of four or five options, depending on where you measured the dimensions. After a few, I decided on the 11-inch. I was worried that 2/16 would be too wide, but it turned out to be just right.

If you're going to sell banjo heads, you'll need to make sure the collar height, low-back height, and neck length are all clearly marked. medium- high. This is especially true when ordering online or when some businesses refuse to accept returns. Fitting banjo heads is difficult, and you must be precise with your measurements.
