Questions & Answers
Yes, but it's a heavier drum head than an Ambassador. I used an old 14" tom that I cut down to the depth of a snare drum, stripped everything off of it, repainted it, installed all new hardware, including a new rim and tension rods, and used it as a frame for this head. When I invite people over, they make comments about it. I hope you found this information useful.

Arrived on time and with everything in order. When I look out over the kit while rocking, I get a fun change of visual art in my lower vision. I'm not a chemist or a printer, but it's amazing that I can hit this art with a Drum stick and it still looks brand new. If I'm looking for a substrate that is sitting atop another, I can't feel it with my fingers or see a trace of it at an angle. It's true to say that it's hidden beneath the surface of the skin. br> I think it's a great idea to ask drummers who provide audio art to create a visual piece of art for the tool we use to make the audio. The drummer's (creator) visual, when combined with the creator's drum style, creates an opportunity to share a non-traditional musical experience. My brain, and possibly yours, receives both aural and visual stimuli from this verbal vibe. Let's hope there are more of these in the future!.
I'm not usually a fan of Aquarian heads, but Jose is one of my favorite drummers, and the design is cool, so I gave it a shot. I absolutely adore it. It sounded incredible on my Ludwig symphonic, which I've had for 30 years.
What a fantastic sound! Fantastic artwork!.
Sounds good to me.
