They don't come in white, only black, red, and blue.
You can also use it as a floor tom, because a 14" floor tom can be used as a floor tom. That's why I like having a 14" diameter floor tom because it allows me to switch it out with my snare drum, which is a lot of fun. But, to answer your question, if you have a 14' drum head, you can use it for both your snare and floor tom if the diameters are the same.
Thank you for your inquiry; yes, this drum can be mounted on a stand.

Selected User Reviews For Evans Hydraulic Black Drum Head, 14 Inch
Evans' product is one of his best. It's a brilliant idea to have dampening built right into the head. The matte finish is incredibly edgy. It's very easy to tune, and it sounds fantastic. br>This head was designed for big hitters and can withstand a lot of punishment. It has Evans 360 ring technology, which ensures even tuning, which is especially important on older drums that may be slightly warped. br>br>I'm still getting a little too much ring and a lot more overtones than I'd like, but that's due to the drum, not the head. More external dampening is not required for this head. If there was any more, the sound and tone would be completely deafening. br>14x5 inches of my poplar 5 drum is 13 years old and has always been difficult to tune and get the right sound from, regardless of the various heads I've tried. br>br>This head is fantastic, and I strongly suggest it.
5/5.
I understand that this head is advertised as being simple to tune and long-lasting, but I believe that its heavy pop is where it truly shines. From the center to the edge, there's a surprising amount of variety. If you have the right stick tips, you can go from metal cracks in the middle to stroke rolls near the rim with a real jazzy sound. I have two snare drums, and this is the one I'll be using for the foreseeable future.
Everything is in great working order! The sound is fat and full, and it's fantastic! Snappy, fantastic snare sound I was blown away after hearing some of the pros talk about their favorite heads. I'm glad I was able to get my hands on this one.
Punk rock to the extreme. When you look at the specifications on Evans' website, you'll notice that this head has a good attack, minimal sustain and tone, and a high durability. Certainly, it stands up to that. This head has incredible attack, and the thick 500 snare side makes it go CRACK! With a flat black coating, this head looks fantastic as well. It also feels indestructible; I've got this baby turned all the way down and I'm wailing on it without hesitation.
"The sound of Evans Hydraulic heads is very warm, deep, and punchy – if you're looking for a 70's rock sound for your drum kit, these drumheads are perfect. Indeed, they are absolutely correct. It sounds amazing rocky and deep," according to the makers of this product. It appeals to me.
These produce a quick boom and a short duration of sound. They don't "thump" like cheaper heads and aren't as bright and crisp as white textured batter beads, which I prefer. Between the two layers, there is an oil layer that isn't visible. Different logos adorn the heads, some of which read ". 360 "Evans Hydraulic," said a few. In other words, they are incompatible. However, I am unconcerned about this.
Technology is incredible. I really like this hydraulic snare drum head; it's fantastic. I've had a lot of snare drum heads, but none of them have been as good as this one. It's not even necessary for me to use gel pads. amazing. This is an excellent product. Evans, I appreciate your help.
These heads are fantastic! There are no strange overtones left, only good old rock sounds!.
