A very tough and durable material. I can't think of a better way to practice for less than $20. There is a huge piece of black fabric that looks like it could be put over your snare drum relatively The table is the only place I use it. I think this would also work well with a stand. I'm not saying you should get this pad if you are looking for a very quiet pad. But then, what is the benefit of being so quiet you can't hear yourself talk. Finally, for the first time in twenty years, I feel motivated to practice my rudiments with this pad. It is fun to practice Doubles and Rolls, as well as Flam a Diddles. All the practice material appears to be well glued on, and the quality of the practice material appears to be good. Despite the included card from the company (USA), I don't see a reason to turn this into a problem. They assure you that they will do their best to make sure you are satisfied, and that is unusual Besides being nice to each other, they look like an interesting couple. I can honestly say that if you are a parent looking for a practice pad at a steal of a price, or a student wishing to save some cash for other stuff, this pad won't disappoint you. You can't go wrong with this even if you are an older drummer who has not kept up with the music in a few years.

For over 25 years, I have played drums professionally and this practice pad has been a great asset to me. There are few products that match the quality and price point of this one. It is typical for my other practice pads to coast twice as much as mine. If you are a professional or new to the sport, this is the set for you.

After being in drumline in high school, I decided to pick up some old hobbies in my free time. I purchased a number of drum pads in high school, but I'd have to say this is one of my favorites. There is a great rebound and the noise is pretty low. It is a great tool for practicing laps and carrying it.
