An example would be a horn's bell. It is my hope that this.
Thanks to the product, I was able to attach it to the drum head and cut out the larger port hole without too much effort. In truth, it's more like a thick sticker, but that's really all it needs to be to simplify cutting the port and give it some structural integrity. It's definitely a good idea to have a nice razor or exact knife to cut the port, and make sure you do it on materials like a thick cardboard surface you're okay cutting.
I have tried the spinny ones, but they have a hit or miss effect. There are other options that are tacky or make me feel bulky, but this one provides plenty of support without needing to be visible to anyone at all. a little tricky at first if you aren't confident with your razor or exactly, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite straight forward. To melt a hole in, I used to just use the old "hot can" method, but that is stinky and kind of a hassle. Most people will find this to be the best option!.
I don't know what to make of this. The sound changed for a ton of punch and was easy to use. I just wanted to say thanks to Aquarian for making this decal/template. It was very easy to stick on and use a razor blade to cut the hole out. I find it to be worth the money.
My daughter's Ludwig Jr. kick drum had a loud ring to it, and I wanted to tone that down, so with this cheaper alternative, it was a much better choice than a pre-amp The port at the head of the She finds the drum a bit large for her 16" kick drum, but it still sounds great. There is no way you can make a mistake if you have use of a utility knife. Place it on the head and cut around the circle with the knife as a guide (so that the body of the knife touches the circle).
A thin blade was ordered so you can cut the hole more easily. This will not wash off. During recording, this feature lets you isolate the bass drum easily.
Yes, it is a little pricey for a plastic sticker, but it made the job of cutting a port hole into my kick head easy and the sticker is large enough to hold the Beta 52A.
