This is the stand you need if you need it to last. Adjustable in every way. It has a bit of a premium price, but it won't fall over, tip or collapse when you use it.

This is a stand I would recommend. Since it can be moved into play position, I can play with no problems Bongos fit snugly in it because it is sturdy enough to hold them. In the process of getting it picked up, I had to remove the screw holding the top portion of the stand to the base. Because it became lost over time, I had to pick it up from the base, the top, and the foot of the stand at the same time. You can also separate the two sections just by pulling them.

The product is worth one star, but I regret having to give it one. It is sturdy and can be adjusted in height, but the set up and take down are both tedious and time-consuming. As someone who plays bongos in various places, I find that if the bongos can't be conveniently set up or taken down, it isn't as functional for me. It is hard to get my bongos situated on the stand when the metal bar that goes over the top of the bongos and holds them in place and the bongo rim are so close together. Furthermore, the washers and wing nuts are placed on the bottom, making them easy to drop and lose. But with a frustrating set up process (at least for me), this stand is not practical. You may be able to use this stand all the time if you are planning on leaving your bongos on it all the time. It will be returned to you, however.
