It's obvious that this stand was built You'd have to be at least 7 feet tall to use this stand. It cannot be included into your drum set because it is too high. I know I'm shorter than average, but seriously, you'd have to be that tall to use it. You have to be able to stand and play in a very tall position if you're going to stand and play. Due to the stand, this instrument is difficult to use with multi-percussion sets on stage. It would have been wise for me to have realized this before buying. Since it has a black finish, it doesn't match my other hardware, so if I were to switch out the base, it would look out of place. I did not get the best deal when I bought this.
