No way, not for the ground. It would be impossible for the slide to go anywhere. br>This item is only available as a wall mount.
Yes, if the rubber washer and protective end cover are removed. I gave it a shot, and the trumpet is going to work. To avoid scratching the instrument's interior, wrap a small piece of electrical tape around the end.
The holder has a good amount of weight to it. Its weight capacity is largely determined by the type of wall on which it will be installed. Instead of using the screws that came with it, I used toggler bolt anchors to secure it to the drywall. It fits a trombone weight perfectly.
No, I do not believe that is true. The instrument is held in place by a 6-inch upright post. The distance between the wall and the edge of the bed is 5 inches. Your instrument's bell, in my opinion, is too big.

flimsy. This product is adequate for a basic small tenor trombone, but it bends to the right when a trigger trombone or bass trombone is used. Also, when the rubber cone set screw is tightened, it strips through, so something must be placed on the post below it to keep it from sliding down. Basically, if you're willing to make significant changes to it, it might be worth it. However, as it is, it is only suitable for the tiniest of trombones. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The actual post that holds the bones has bent to the heavy side of each trombone after a few weeks. Personally, I like it because it has a lean to it. However, it remains a testament to the poor quality of these items.
The screw that tightens the rubber part in which your trombone sits is poorly designed, but it will mount on the wall just fine. The metal screw simply screws into a rubber "threaded" hole that has very little grip, and attempting to tighten it results in the rubber threads being stripped off. This makes me concerned that the trombone will simply slide down and the bell will bang/rest on the metal. It's barely holding it up right now, but if you rotate the trombone while it's resting on the stand, it'll fall down (UPDATE: Within 30 minutes of putting the bell on the mount, the bell rest slides all the way down until the bell strikes the metal. I'm trying to stuff things inside the hole to see if I can get a better grip, but the screw is so flimsy that I don't think it'll hold. You'd think that for $30, you'd get a decent product. For $40, a simple plate and mount would provide stability and protection for an instrument in which many of us have invested a significant amount of money. I'll be using it exclusively with my beat-up horn.
I 100% love this product! Now that my trombone is on display and easily accessible, I 100% practice way more often than before. It's a beautiful addition to my music room that also makes things easier. It's very sturdy, and I was able to put it together fairly quickly. I've been thinking about getting a second trombone!.
I couldn't get the screws tight enough into the wall the first time I tried to mount this holder, and it fell out. The screw holes are located in the middle of the trombone, directly behind the center pole. Instead of two holes in the center, there should be four holes and four screws in the corners. br>br>After completely removing the center pole, which was blocking the mounting holes, the second mounting attempt was much more successful. In addition, stronger anchors into the drywall should be used.
It's simple to set up and maintain, and it's very stable. To keep your bell from being scratched, I recommend putting a crew sock over the end of the mount.
To begin, I should mention that I also purchased a wall mount for my saxophone from the same brand, and I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of both. The trombone mount, in particular, is extremely sturdy, and it's made entirely of metal, so I don't have any concerns about it falling. It looks great on the wall and is very sturdy. I would caution potential buyers to consider the fact that it protrudes from the wall quite a bit, but this does not detract from the quality of the product.
It's fine; the only issue I had was with the screws, which was likely due to the fact that my only screwdriver was a few sizes too large. For my stripped screws, the company immediately sent me a pair of replacements. They're fantastic, but I wish they had a horizontal trombone wall mount available. This is mounted with a saxophone mount I bought from the same company a few years ago, and it works perfectly!.
In a practice room or music studio, these hangars would be fantastic. It saves a lot of time when it comes to putting a trombone together and taking it apart to store it in a traditional case. Now I can safely store it on a wall and access it whenever I need it. I intend to buy more of these in the future.
