As you can see from the placement of the lower cradle, it is more for low Bb models than low A. I did not give it five stars because I realized it's for low A bari's rather than low Bb models. The base of low Bb bari's does not fit in the cradle, which is a nuisance and decreases the reliability of the instrument when on the stand it may be possible to drill a mounting hole for the cradle about three inches above its current position. It would be beneficial if the manufacturer offered one or two mounting hole options for the lower cradle so that I could solve this issue with the stand. On the other hand, owners of Baris with low A decile scores should have no problem using the stand.
Once the instrument is in place, I am not very confident in the stability of the stand. (Isn't that why we buy an instrument stand?). I have to place the B Bari at a very precise angle in order to prevent the instrument from twisting to the side. The stand seems to catch the instrument, but only because I'm guiding it there. Looking back, I should have gotten a Hercules like I bought for my tenor and alto.
The headline is as it The construction is solid and the height can be adjusted easily.
I really like how well this product is With confidence, I may leave my sax on a stairway knowing that if it gets bumped, it will not fall.
I wouldn't call it good, but not bad It has been a few years since I purchased this stand. With this, I have played a lot of rock and blues gigs with rowdy fans and been able to carry the Yamaha 61 pro model bari. I admit the horn has been knocked over twice, but would have been on any stand. At the same time, this stand definitely marred the surface of the horn a bit under the bell, but in my own defense I should have protected it better. Despite its many positive features, the only negative aspect of the stand is its tensioning bolts, which are difficult to adjust and are not large enough for the risers to hold tension. In the end, I am not complaining for what I paid for it.
We received a stand within a timely manner. I have it set up with the bari saxon, but I wish it looked a little more sturdy.
Over six weeks ago, I purchased a musical instrument stand from a store that came with a missing part. I sent a note to the company and never heard back from them. If the company does not value customer satisfaction, I will no longer purchase equipment online from them.
It is also light.
