How does this peg fit on this sax stand? Thanks Go to http//www. The Amazon website. ?

The Hercules DS538B Double ATL/TNR Sax and SOP Sax ST are excellent instruments. I replaced the middle peg with a Hercules DS501B Trumpet/Cornet PEG and it works beautifully. In addition, the instrument stand is very stable and does not bump into other instruments. It's OK if it's a rowdy big dog.

It can also be used on tenor sax necks
5/5

The stand screws in nicely, although I wish they would specify the thread size and pitch I have other sax stands that have a different size thread. I won't be able to use this with alto saxes, because the neck is too large. My goal is to separate the horn from the neck and the mouthpiece after every play. Put them in cold water, swab, then pull a swab through them, and let the neck of the stand dry separately so that you will not wear out the tenons or the The application is suitable for the purpose I'm using it for.

The design is fantastic
4/5

With this trumpet stand, you can choose exactly what shape bell you want to fit. Only complaint is that the screw mount comes loose from my base frequently and needs to be tightened.

The Hercules stand could do with some improvement, but it is not cheap
4/5

The rating would be 5 stars if it were possible. Despite their inherent value, the felt on the felt-covered pegs has started peeling off after a little more than a month of use. It also seems that even if you adjust the flange on even standard Yamaha trumpets (from 8335/8445 to 9636 D/Eb), the horns do not sit exactly where they should on the holder. K&L horns have the same shape and are equally at home on a K&L The flange on the M-5 leg floor stand is just a bit out of spec, maybe 20%, from being snug. It has no obvious horns on it, so I'm not sure what horn(s) they used to design it with. The best approach is to choose a stand in a location that won't move a lot. A summer concert outdoors might require us to consider another stand when we're outdoors.

Featured here is a PEG that The settings for are different for me
5/5

Featured here is a PEG that To set different trumpet bells, I use different settings. A B flat trumpet bell is the default setting out of the box. You can adjust the bell by using the lever on the bottom of the flare if the PEG feels wobbly. To install the PEG, ensure that it is securely screwed in.

The rubber knob extends into the bell, and is therefore poorly designed
3/5

This is much too big! In order to prevent breaking, the knob that extends into the bell of the trumpet was cut off due to its dimensions. It's too bad it doesn't fit the average trumpet because it's so large. If I set my trumpet or trumpet stand on the stand, I need to be extra careful to not hit the exposed end of the bell.

This is easy
5/5

After I bought the DS537B for my saxes, I needed (or, to be honest, wanted) to purchase something for my trumpet. With its easy-to-use adjustable or whatever you would call that part, this is perfect for a variety of trumpets and cornets. Leaving no residue on the inside of the horn. Does not scratch the horn.
