If you buy it from us, you'll get both bottles.
Yes, both the large and small bottles are included in the package. Both of them must be used.
I'm a dedicated trombone player who practices for two hours every day. The two-part "Slide-O-Matic" is what I usually use. Once a week, make a new batch of trombone slide lubricant. I have a very smooth slide for about a week after just spritzing it with water as I begin to practice each day. Then, when I notice that I'm having to spritz it with water several times a day to keep it smooth, I thoroughly clean the slides and re-install them. "Slide-O-Matic" can be used. I'm ready to play for another week now that I've mixed everything together. I have about five different kinds of slide lube, but this is by far the best. This book comes highly recommended.
The product is used in two steps: first, we use the small bottle to add a few drops to the stockings of the inner slide, and then we work the slides a few times. Then, while holding the slide vertically, we can use the large bottle to drop a few drops on each slide from the top. Spritz the inner slides with water and move them around a couple of times. The slides should now be gliding effortlessly. Each time we play, we should add a few drops from the big bottle, and spray the slide with water to keep it moving smoothly.

Wow. This is an excellent product. br>br>I bought a cheap Blessing trombone on Facebook Marketplace, but the slide wasn't working properly. It worked, but there was definitely resistance in the slide, which has a few very minor dings and dents on it. Maybe that was the source of the problem, I reasoned. I decided to try a different slide lubricant than the one that came with the thing before taking it to a shop. To cut a long story short, I bought this, slapped it on, and the slide is now free to move. This is an excellent product.
I've tried Trombotine, Yamaha, and the Slide-O-Matic, but this is the only brand that consistently works. When you combine all of them in one bottle, none of them performs as well as the others. This performs admirably on both my King 2B and my Conn 88H. Trombotine was never thin enough for me, and the Yamaha comes in a close second and handles the heat well.
Since cold cream and teflon, there has been technological advancement! Before applying lubricant, I had a slide that was quite sticky. When the two Slide-O-Matics have been applied, Mixing the concoctions worked well, though there were a few rubbing spots. The cool thing is that when I pulled the slide out of the case the next day after it had sat in the case for the night, it was much smoother than when I first put it in!.
When you only play for an hour a day, a weekly application of the product (as directed) is more than enough. However, keep a spray bottle of distilled water on hand and spray the slide with it at least once a day, if not more frequently. Water spray keeps the slide silky smooth when combined with the silicone in this product.
For my son's trombone, we placed this slide order. We were very pleased with this product because it came with both bottles. My son insisted that you needed both bottles, even though I had no idea what a trombone was. When we first ordered these, the company only sent one of the bottles, despite the fact that the ad stated that there would be two. We were hesitant to order again because of our previous experience, but we were extremely pleased with the results. Thanks!.
My teenage twins are both trombone players, and this lube did not appeal to them. I'm going to switch to a different brand.
Slide-O-Matic is a tried-and-true method for transferring Mix. This is the best trombone lube I've ever used on two of my trombones, but Yamaha slide lube works better on the other. Try it for yourself; it's a good product, and the bottles should last a long time.
