Because this is a synthetic oil, it isn't flammable and isn't marked as such.
With difficulty, that is. I pull up quickly after pushing down and twisting. If I'm lucky, the cover will be revealed. This is the only negative aspect of this product that I dislike.
It sounds like you received a defective product, so I'd send it back and explain the situation.

The valves in a baritone were sticking, so the music teacher lubricated them, but it only lasted a week before the problem reappeared. Because the Amazon reviews for this product were positive, I decided to give it a try and highly recommend it. I've been using it for three months and haven't needed to reapply oil.
I recently received this product. To complete her NTI days Flipgrids for school, my daughter needed more valve oil. (Due to the virus, all of our schools have been closed, and the students are doing distance learning at home on Chromebooks. ) ) Half of the product had gotten into the shrink-wrapped package. I would have returned it, but I was unable to do so due to my daughter's need to complete her band assignment on her trumpet. Due to Amazon's shipping delays for "non-essential" items, I couldn't afford to be without any. " She's making do with what's left in the bottle, and it appears to be working. The bottle simply could not withstand the long journey. We poured the rest of the liquid into the bottle she already had so it could be used.
There was a lot of oil leaking out. I gave the product a two because it is exactly what it says it is: valve oil, but when I unpacked it, there was valve oil all over the outside of the bottle, and the label had separated from the bottle due to the oil leakage. This is something I bought for my 13-year-old daughter. year- for his music class with his 12-year-old son. The oil soaked into the label, and it now just slides around the bottle's outside. I was let down.
I've used a variety of valve oils over the course of my 15 years as a trumpet player. This is near the top of my list because it is long-lasting and affordable; I believe Hetmann's is the best, but it is too expensive; this and Monster brand valve oil are tied for second place in my book. I'm new to this brand, but I've been using it for about a year and am still happy with it.
This is a fantastic brand, and I immediately noticed a difference in the way my keys functioned. From now on, I'll only purchase this brand. I would strongly suggest it.
The viscosity is a little too thick for a horn with tight valve tolerances, but it's a good quality oil that lasts a long time. It's a little too sluggish on my Yamaha, which is known for its finely machined valves. It'd be ideal for a student, marching band, or older horn, but it's simply not fast enough for a professional horn. end, a well-built instrument It has the potential to be used as a slide lubricant.
It was also utilized by our trumpet player. She guffawed as her slide tried to escape as she blew through her trumpet! My Holton behaved like a dream, which can only be chemically induced in something that old.
My son's baritone needed a complete overhaul, and it's as if the school didn't care about it in the least. This went on smoothly after the full clean and didn't drip, despite the fact that it was most likely overloaded. This allows the valves to glide smoothly, and we apply three dabs to each valve once a week. I'm not sure how these are usually delivered, but the noozle makes application a breeze! If the need arises, I will purchase again.
