They were purchased by me. It's a teal color, not a blue.
These were purchased, and I must say that the color is true red. Of course, it is dependent on how your laptop, i-pod, or other electronic device is configured. The seller's phone or computer screen/monitor is calibrated, as is the way the photos were taken, with the goal of accurately representing the color. But, rest assured, these are a true red, albeit a little dark. These appear to be a little lighter than they are on our computer monitor. br>br>And don't worry, they're neither maroon nor wine in color. Wine color is simply a dark shade of red, while maroon is a dark reddish purple or dark brownish red color. Yes, you didn't need a color wheel lesson, but I'm just trying to reassure you that these are a true red (and I'm just a customer who bought them). The good news is that it isn't an orange red. br>br>I'm extremely happy with them. They work incredibly well as shakers, and they add a nice pop of color to my kitchen counter (where we have them). The worst that can happen is that you order them and then realize the red doesn't suit you, in which case you can return them. Better yet, take them to your nearest Kohl's store (in the box, with the receipt), and Kohl's should be able to return them to Amazon. br>br>Best of luck to you.

It is, in fact, a reddish-brown color. It isn't quite as brightly colored as it appears. You will not be disappointed with this red.

I've had these shakers for a couple of months and I'm in love with them. They're lovely, well-made, and will last a very long time; I'm not sure I'll ever need to buy another set unless the glass breaks. The glass is thick and heavy, and they don't have a cheap feel to them. They're simple to clean, and refilling is a breeze. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these shakers. I can't think of anything I don't like about them because they are of such high quality. I don't put them in the dishwasher; instead, I wash them by hand, closing the holes on top and wiping them down with a damp cloth in between.
My elderly mother, who lives on the other side of the country in an assisted living facility, requested red salt and pepper shakers. I came across these and thought they'd be ideal because she can tell the difference between salt and pepper easily. They are a huge hit with her! And all of the credit goes to me!.
I ordered a second set of these shakers because we love them so much. They'll be able to hold my white and red pepper. The fact that there are three different sizes of holes is a nice touch. Now I'm on the lookout for a red trivet large enough to hold all four of them.
They're a good size to keep near the stove or on the table, and they don't have to be constantly filled.
These were purchased for our RV, and the size is ideal for use in the kitchen and at the table. It's simple to add a 1/2 teaspoon to a recipe or a dash to your meal thanks to the adjustable pour holes. A small business in Seattle did an excellent job on this product. Get some!.
I already have a pepper grinder, so I'm using the "pepper" shaker for a herb/salt mixture I'm making. The fact that the shakers have three pour hole options is fantastic. The build quality is excellent - "Jar" made of glass with a metal "top/sleeve. ".
The red and blue sets were what I bought. It's easy to tell which spice you're using because the color is so vibrant. I put them in the dishwasher right away. Because the shaker's outer part isn't dishwasher safe, the red has faded. After sending an email to the company, they promptly sent a replacement. I also received a follow-up email inquiring as to whether or not I had received my replacements. I'm a big fan of shakers like these. Great customer service and a great product!.
For us, they're the perfect size. Easily adjust for variations in pour amounts. And they appear to be well-made.
