I am very pleased with this.
Money is not to be wasted. They do not work at all unless they are attached in a very specific way, which is not easy to do. Returning them would've been the right thing to do, but I kept them a bit.
My favorite feature of this canner/bottle opener is how slim it is. It makes it easy to handle your canned goods. Since I can now open them without using a knife, I can stop using it for that purpose. The price is worth it, and the product is worth buying.
This is a product I have yet to use, but it looks like it would work for me.
I find it especially difficult on large lids of jars.
My friend helped me out with this once, and it is very useful and easy to use.
Similar in functionality Despite being different, they can be described as follows From the 1950s to the present I have the VIVP Adjustable Jar & the Era Gilhoolie very simple, but highly effective, way to either open stuck jar lids or to open jars that have a difficult opening, because the hands either aren't strong enough or too small. The structure is attractively constructed from tough, durable Grade-A wood This opener is likely to last for generations because it is made of stainless steel I recommend buying these for your kids today if you have any. Simple instructions are given on how to operate the opener Place the fixed jaw at the end of the lid over one side, move the movable one to fit over the other side, then make sure the adjustment pawl appears to be in one of the notches on the non-moving jaw. This is the handle side of the U-shaped tube This is a cube-shaped body (you may need to push the pawl in place depending on the angle you're holding it at) and a handle that tightly grabs Anywhere from a tiny quarter to a size of an oblong can be closed A larger device with a large opening can open anything from an inch cap to a giant lid four and a half inches in diameter, and once the jaw teeth grab the lid, the body of the device gives enough leverage to open almost any twist-off or screw-on There is virtually no danger of breaking a glass jar due to the close spacing of the adjustment notches. In addition, I also found that, like the Gilhoolie original, the VIVP Adjustable Jar & Cup works well A Bottle Opener can be used to reseal beverage bottles' crowns (bottle caps). Upon receipt of the opener, it will be enclosed in a sealed clear plastic bag inside a neat and understated package A cardboard box of this type. There does seem to be a difference between the right and left hand Having a left-handed personality As soon as I saw that, I recognized it However, there are no left-handed people Handers will have a hard time with that for a long time (we adapt to it). The VIVP Adjustable Jar & The VIVP Adjustable Bowl I recommended this item. Would have been a good present if it had been shipped in an Amazon bubble envelope, but I would guess that would spoil the surprise if it had been given as a gift.
