It is a little too small. I advise you not to buy. Originally purchased this for my mom to open a standard-sized pickle jar, it has turned out to be much smaller than I had The jar opener is only able to open maybe the smallest jam jars, which means that it cannot open more than 75 percent of them. Instead of wasting your money on a similar type of opener, buy a different one.

A jar lid larger than that would not fit. If the product can even fit a lid that is sized appropriately, it must be pried open to allow the lid to fit. Let me tell you how useless that is I find it ridiculous to try to use this product when I have arthritis. In the end, I did not return the item because it was inexpensive and I already opened and disposed of Make sure you are buying something you can afford.

I was recommended this product from a friend after she heard that my hands are weak. I didn't find it to be useful. This has to be physically separated before you can turn it, which was not possible. It's good for chewing on and i gave one away, but my dog really enjoys chewing on the other one. It's time for me to return to my old way of doing things. There was a bang on the lid while the jar was banged on the floor. The puppy knows if she hears that sound it means mum is cooking something good for her.

This is what I like. one for myself a few years ago, and I like it so much that I bought each of my granddaughters one so they wouldn't try and take mine. I am over 65, and now some strength in my hands has gone, and the jar opener helps greatly.

The dimensions of this product were not listed on the packaging, so when it arrived I was somewhat surprised. As far as other things are concerned, it has worked great. You will not encounter any "grip" ridges on the outside that can ruin your fingers and no way for this to not fit. It is okay to use the lid if it is bigger than it can handle unless you have a really large lid. During the past 24 hours It has helped me open water bottles without leaking water on myself, others, or the area in which I am standing. There is no problem with anything that is twisted off. As well as allowing me to rest my hand, I am also experiencing trigger finger symptoms in my right index finger. It is best to keep one at home and another at the office. Keeping this one in my car may be another good idea.

I love how easy it is to take It works great with lids just a bit larger than handle holes, but difficult with jars that have bodies or lids that are larger than how far the connectors can be stretched. Our kitchen is filled with a lot of jars, but one mango is just too big to open, so we purchased a cabinet opener for it. The rest of the system works perfectly with them. The lid came with one and the body came with the other. I love how easy it is to take.
