There's a very slim chance they would be replaced if they cracked. wouldn't wash them in the dishwasher and after washing, I would hand dry them, but they are smooth and a lot of fun to use.
While I am not sure of where the products were made, I have not noticed any odor, and the foods I have used them on have not changed in taste. They're really cool to me.
It is not clear where they are made, but they are supposed to be teak and certainly appear to be very smooth, as we can see in the pictures.
