No, but we've only used them a few times so far.
I haven't yet put them in the dishwasher, but the packaging states that they are safe.
Hello there, because the handle of the hold was made of plastic, it could not be boiled.
There are two of them, one is 7/8" and the other is 1". 1/8". It's easier to insert into cob because of the various lengths. br>This is a fantastic product that is well-made.

It does the job and I like that the prongs don't rust, or at least shouldn't rust - They've only been washed once so far. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, unless you don't mind DISCOLORATION, they are NOT DISHWAHER SAFE. After a single wash, the clear part became foggy gray. br>br>In any case, it accomplishes its goal. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I received replacement holders from the seller, so kudos to Foxtop for their dedication to their customers!.
I've been using them for two years and have had no issues. But, all of a sudden, this summer, they started to fall apart. The plastic that holds the metal prongs easily cracks, allowing the metal prongs to fall out. Repairs with superglue are possible, but gluing can be difficult if the plastic has broken into small fragments (as it did with a couple of mine).
I loved them when I first got them, but after only four uses, the metal tines broke free from their holders and became stuck in the cob's end. Save your money and invest in something that will last a long time.
I'm pleased with the product; I'm on my second set of these and one of them broke. The metal prong at the base of the corn cob broke off and remained in the cob. I might have bitten into the sharp metal end of the prong that is supposed to hold the corn cob if I hadn't noticed it. The manufacturer got in touch with me and sent me a replacement for the damaged item. The handles are large and easy to hold the corn cob, and they store neatly together so your utensil drawer is free of sharp spikes.
They're fantastic. They're comfortable to hold, and the skewers are sharp and easily interlock. br>There is one minor annoyance: Three of the eight pairs have clear plastic, while the others have translucent plastic (as seen in the photo), but they all came in a sealed bag. I would have preferred it if everything was consistent and straightforward.
The first use of several of them resulted in failure. I've ordered similar Corn Cob Holders from Walmart before, and they've lasted much longer! I didn't put them in the dishwasher, for crying out loud. After a few uses, it fell apart. These aren't worth your time. Manufacturing at a low cost.
Both adults and children will find it easy to hold on to these holders. My six-year-old grandchildren These large holders hold the corn much better than the smaller plastic holders I used to have, and I prefer the larger, softer handles as well. They are much more stable and easier to poke the corn cobs with.
After 1- The forks have broken for the second year in a row, not because they were dropped or mistreated, but because they were used. Plastics aren't made the same way they used to be, as evidenced by an old pair of shoes that seemed to last forever. We'll probably have to buy a new set in a year or two.
