For the time being, this Jug is devoid of a straw. It is a separate purchase that must be made. However, we are currently improving this product and will add straws later.

Okay, I just got this, and so far I'm really enjoying it. I work in extreme heat, and drinks never stay cold in my hands. So, the night before, I stuffed a couple cups of ice into my thermos and stored it in the fridge. I filled it with ice and my black tea the morning of work (around 730 a. m. ) and went to work. Today's high temperature was 108°F, which equates to 115°F. Our warehouse is at a temperature of 118 degrees Fahrenheit. (At least) I've been drinking ice cold tea all day, and it's still ice cold and has ice as I type this at 702 p. m. It's impossible for me to believe. So far, it's been a good investment! It appears to be well-made, with a good handle and drink spout. Update! br>br> After the first day, I sat it on my counter to see if it was still ice cold the next morning, and it was. I arrived at work without making any changes or additions. I came home with ice cold tea after another long day of work in the scorching heat. I'm not sure how much is left because I drank the majority of it, but I'm really impressed with this thing!.
Extremely strong and massive! This is a massive machine! If you're using it as a mug, you'll need both hands. You must be careful not to overfill it because it is a screw top. The lid is made of extremely durable material. I used a carabiner (d-) to attach the rope to the carabiner. I use a spring closure (in the shape of a heart) on my lid and attach it to my bags. It's perfect if you put the lid on extra tight; the ice will last for at least 24 hours. This is best done with only water. Seltzer could also work, but it could cause pressure issues. I wouldn't put soda in it because the mug's interior is metal, and the acid in the soda would corrode it. Soda should be served in a plastic cup. I hope this information is useful.
I bought a gallon jug in the cotton candy color and it was a complete waste of money! It failed to keep liquid cold and leaked from two spots on the lid. The customer service representative sent me a replacement in a different color, which was a huge improvement. It actually kept the water ice cold for the entire day and did not leak! It was inconvenient to have to contact him and then wait another week for it to arrive when I needed it immediately. However, because of the low price, I would purchase it again. Before giving up, I would definitely contact customer service and speak with them.
When buying off-the-shelf items on Amazon, as is customary, You get what you pay for when it comes to a brand name. My jug arrived with chips on the closing edges, but I decided to keep it because it won't affect how I use it. I also disagree with the fact that it is unlikely to be re-evaluated. I'm not a fan of irrational consumerism, so I was sold. My only other gripe is that I have to wash it every three days or so because it smells a little rotten inside. I've only ever put water in it, so I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing issue or a common occurrence with metal water jugs. It does, however, have a strong odor. It only takes a quick wash to fix it, and we're back in business. If you're looking for one of these but don't want to spend $50, this is the one to get. 00 for this particular size.
I was really looking forward to this product, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It's well-made and has a lovely finish, but that's about all the good things it has going for it. The fact that I could have cold water all day was the main reason I bought it. I put ice cold water in it on day one, and it stayed cold for about 2 hours; on day two, I put water and ice in it, and it sweated a lot, and it only stayed cold for about 3 hours before all the ice melted. Day 3 and 4, I filled it with water the night before and put it in the fridge overnight; it only stayed cold for about 2 hours, far less than the 24 hours stated in the description. I'm going to see what the return policy is like. The price is far too high for a product that does not keep water cold.
This bottle was significantly larger than I had anticipated, but it will be ideal for anyone who travels frequently by car or who will be in an area where water is scarce. Because we can't use fountains or water coolers at work due to covid restrictions, I needed to make sure I had enough water for late nights without running out. It can also be used to serve cold drinks to a group. There were no leaks and the liquids stayed cool for a long time. However, because I no longer work late hours, I now carry a smaller bottle.
