Questions & Answers

How big is this container's opening?

My sphere is also 3" in diameter. Furthermore, there is a thin lip beneath the cap. Example. The bottom of a muffin baked in a standard tin fits in, but not the top.

Is it safe to put it in the dishwasher?

Yes. I wash mine on the top rack of the dishwasher on a regular basis. I use the Foogo thermos about once a week, and it's been dishwasher safe.

Will it allow Mac to continue to exist?

Yes! I bring my children's Mac with me. At 6 p.m., there will be cheese, soups, and tuna casserole, among other things. It's 30 a.m., and they're reporting that it's still hot at noon. Preparation is something I do all the time. fill the thermos with water: Fill to the top with boiling water and set aside for 5 minutes with the lid on. Just before filling with hot food, dump out the hot water and tightly close the lid. When packing the food, make sure it is extremely hot. By mid-afternoon, the temperature will be just right for eating. Good luck with your meal!

Excellent craftsmanship
4/5

This tiny thermos will be ideal for my. Excellent craftsmanship. This small thermos is ideal for my six-year-old daughter's lunchbox. It was the perfect size for Mac and cheese this week, and my daughter reported that it was still warm four hours after it was packed. She'll be able to open and close it on her own as well.

This is an item that you can't go wrong with
4/5

I'm on my third one, and I'm really enjoying it. If the rubber seal is not removed and washed thoroughly, it will absorb odor and mold will grow under the seal. br>br>I've discovered that soaking a teaspoon of liquid dishwasher soap in hot water for an hour keeps it smelling fresh until the next time you use it. br>br>KEEP IT HOT FOR 3 TO 4 HOURS. After about half an hour, the temperature begins to gradually drop. I find it to be effective. In this jar, I like to make oatmeal. oatmeal, boiling water, and a pinch of cinnamon The trip to work takes about half an hour. When I get to work, everything is perfectly cooked. Steel cut oats can also be used in this method, but they must be kept in the jar for a longer period of time. br>br>At school for lunch, kids like to use these for ravioli. After four hours, I was still warm and ready for school lunch.

Do not make a purchase
3/5

Because of the positive reviews, I decided to purchase it. I was looking for something simple that my five-year-old could use. I had a replacement sent because I thought the first one was defective, but I couldn't get the lid to tighten in one go on both of them. The lids are completely open and do not close. This one is from Thermos, so I'll have to get the LunchBots one, which is nearly twice the price, but boy does it work well!.

This is a good one
5/5

For my daughter to bring to kindergarten, I purchased a variety of thermos-style food containers. We bought one that was too big; I had no idea how big a 20 oz container is, and if you don't fill it to the fill line, it won't stay warm. And a 20-ounce serving of Mac and cheese or soup is simply too much for my child. br>This 10 oz thermos has served us well in the past. For the past three weeks, I've been going to the gym three times per week. br>I don't really tighten the lid; it's tight enough not to leak, even with chicken noodle soup, and so far, my child has been able to open it easily enough at lunchtime without spilling or needing assistance. br>While I'm making her lunch, I fill the thermos with hot water from a dispenser and set it aside. If it's Mac and cheese or pasta in sauce, it's a 7-minute warmup; if it's soup, it's a 3-minute warmup; in either case, she says her food is warm enough to eat but doesn't burn her mouth, and she doesn't have to wait for it to cool down (she only has 20 minutes to eat lunch, so there's no time to cool food down). br>br>I hand wash it every day after school and When everything is dry, I scrub the sauce/soup out of the seal and replace it.

For the past five years, we've been going strong
3/5

I've used them for school lunches for the past five years. They last a long time. I put the main body in the dishwasher, but I wash the lids by hand because there are so many places where food can get stuck. You must push one side of the seal aside and fire food out the other. However, it's difficult to get an adult hand into the thermos to clean it out if there's food stuck inside. The thermos stays hot until lunchtime after being filled with boiling hot water (which is then thrown out), but it's not easy to reach into with a utensil, even for a small hand. In the end, if I had a do-over, I'd do it again. I'd go for a bowl if I could. Buy something that is easier to clean, such as a thermos.

This is the worst thermos I've ever seen, and it's far too small
3/5

I've never seen a worse thermos. It claims to be 10 oz, but it does not appear to be so. I couldn't fit much more than a few pieces of fish or pasta in it without squeezing it. It may suffice for an infant, but it is insufficient for a child. Furthermore, the cover, especially for a child, is extremely difficult to align and open. The cover's rubber gasket is extremely difficult to remove for washing. to re-install I don't recommend this product, and I'm sorry I bought it because it only keeps the food lukewarm for 3 hours.

Leaks
3/5

For the past five years, I've had this thermos. It worked well at first, keeping food warm if you poured boiling water into it, left it for a few minutes (lid on), then emptied it and filled it with your food. My daughter liked the cute design and the size was perfect. She needed assistance at school because she couldn't open the thermos. After a few years of use, I noticed that the lid didn't always close tightly (we had a lot of leaks), and that lining up the thread of the lid and the bottle was difficult, to the point where it's now impossible to close the lid tightly. Cleaning the inside of the lid proved to be difficult. I'm about to toss this thermos in the trash and replace it with something else.

Quality, affordable, and opens up a plethora of new lunch options! We haven't tried it with cold foods yet, but it keeps our kindergartener's warm lunches warm for 4 hours
5/5

At lunchtime (a little over four hours after they were placed in the container), she reported that her pizza rolls were nice and warm. She is able to open and close the lid on her own. If you pack your child's lunch, I believe this is a must-add item. It's a good deal, and it gives you more lunch options because you can bring something warm to eat. We're excited to bring a wider range of foods with us this time - Soups, pasta, taco/burrito bowls, and vegetables with melted cheese are all good options. I'm thinking about getting another one for myself so that I don't have to use the microwave at work, which can be quite disgusting. The vibrant pink and lime green colors are also a plus; they're very attractive. The color scheme appeals to my daughter.
