It leaks HORRIFICALLY, and you are unable to return! We used this product once a week or so to allow my daughter to bring soup to school for lunch. We washed and dried it by hand every time, and it was leaking profusely after only a month. I'm not talking about dripping, dripping, dripping, dripping, dripping, dripping dripping dripping dripping I was five days late with my return. UGH. BUYING IS A MISTAKE.

My kids have had a number of thermoses over the years, all of which have had varying degrees of success in terms of food staying hot, soup not leaking, and so on. There are no words to describe how much we love our Simple Modern tumblers other than awesome - Our drinks have never stayed as cold as they are now. So when we saw that SM had a food jar, we had to give it a try. We've never had anything like it. Our kids are still telling us how hot their food was hours after it was placed in the jar a month later. Excellent product. I would strongly advise you to purchase it.

Because I adore S/M tumblers, I purchased three food jars for myself and my children. Two of them were lovely, but one was a disaster. I'm not happy with the outcome of the blue one- The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of this. I've had the s/m insulated bottles for more than a year and they're still going strong. It keeps things hot and cold for a long time; I have several hydroflasks, and the s/m easily compares in terms of durability.

So I ordered this food jar thermos for my 9-year-old daughter, who had suddenly decided that she wanted to start bringing soup to school with her. It arrived on time and in its own bubble-wrapped box, just as promised. Stainless steel that is strong and of good quality. Little hands will find it simple to screw on and off the lid. She's been taking it in her lunch for three days and hasn't had any leaks yet. She claims that the soup is "still warm" when it's time for lunch. I bring the soup to a boil before pouring it into the thermos, and she eats her lunch at about 4 p. m. It's been 5 hours. I'm not sure how warm it is for her, but we know it's not cold by lunchtime! We haven't tried anything cold in the thermos yet. For the price and the use we have for it only a few times a week, this was a good buy. This is a product that I would purchase again.

m. , I packed my daughter's soup. 15 a. m. , I usually make it hot because her old thermos cooled down quickly, but when I picked her up, she said she couldn't eat her soup because it was steaming hot! (Don't worry, I packed her other things besides soup lol) Anyway, when we got home, I opened the thermos and the soup was STILL HOT! So it's been 9 hours in this container, and it's still too hot for me to eat! Which is great because it's clearly a great product; it's bad because my daughter couldn't eat her soup, but at least I know to pack it a little cooler next time. This thermos has blown me away! What a fantastic product!! I placed a second order.

Good quality, nice finish, and keeps my overnight oats cold from 6 a. m. to early afternoon (and possibly longer). Overall, it gives the impression of being tough. When it's time for a deep clean, the lid screws on and off smoothly, and the rubber gaskets are relatively easy to remove. br>br>I took it to Target with me and decided to compare it to similar-sized models from Thermos, Coleman, and other brands. Overall, this model was on the lighter and smaller overall size despite offering equal or higher volume with the same promises for cold and hot retention times, all at a lower price ( In my opinion, this is a win-win situation.

This thermos is super cute, and it was exactly what I needed to take to work with me to keep my food warm. It's small enough to fit in my bag or lunch box, but large enough to hold almost anything I bring for lunch. My only complaint is that the groove in the lid is difficult to clean, but this isn't a big deal if you rinse it out as soon as you notice food in it. This is a company from which I will definitely purchase again.

I bought a couple of these so that my kids could bring warm lunches to school. The food stays hot throughout lunch, and on a couple of occasions, it was even too hot! I use a laser engraver to personalize these for my daughter and son. These are highly recommended!.
