I can fit two salad plates in one individual section, which is about an inch or just over.

Likes: 1) not too bulky 2) does what it's supposed to do to some extent 3) suitable for small familiesbr>Dislikes: 1) does not support large plates 2) must lean "end" plate against cabinet wall or plate will fall off 3) does not support concave plates well.
The packaging appears to be open on one end, and the small rubber piece was missing from that end. I looked in the Amazon box, but it was empty. Although the weight of the plates does not appear to be a significant factor, I would prefer to have all four to protect my cabinet from scratches.
This is what I bought for my pot lids and it's fantastic.
The product itself is fine, but the black rubber feet that go on the legs of this item are missing. br>I bought two, the first of which had all of them but the second of which did not.
br>It's sturdy, but there's a little flex to it. For the price, this is an excellent product.
It appeared to be much larger in the photos than I had anticipated. That is my only criticism; aside from that, it does the job well.
It appeals to my tastes. In my china cabinet, I used it to show off my plates.
