Selected User Reviews For Zephyr Presrv Dual Zone Wine Cooler with Glass French Door. 24 Inch 5.15 cu/ft. Refrigerator for Under Counter, Wine Fridge, 21 bottles, Full-Size Built-In Wine Cellars
I did a lot of preliminary research and reading other people's reviews on wine refrigerators, and there were a lot of complaints about how flimsy they were, how loud they were, how the temperature fluctuated, and how the bottles wouldn't fit in them. This unit is extremely durable, solid, heavy, and expensive, but you get what you pay for. Advantages: br>br> a lot of silence Ours is self-contained and extremely attractive. As a result of being purchased from a local distributor, there are no dings. The racks are well-built and glide easily. The temperature controls and lighting are excellent, and the open door alarm is a nice touch. The temperature settings appear to be correct so far. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. I think the shelf spacing could be a little wider. The majority of our chardonnay bottles fit, but not the sparkling wine bottles. To their credit, the manufacturer's website includes a visual description/size of what will fit, as well as a warning. On the "champagne" side, we found a workaround by removing all of the other racks. Then you could easily stack three champagne glasses on top of each other. sized bottles, plus a fourth on top of that, taking up very little space. A few taller bottles would also not fit, but we were warned about this. br>br>Since I've only had 3 weeks, I'll have to wait for an endurance review. So far, I've been very pleased. I'd suggest it.
