I haven't installed the refrigerator yet, so I'm not sure which side the door opens on.
The heat vent is located beneath the front door, so it can be installed without difficulty.
Yes, you can remove the racks. I believe you will only need to remove one rack if you stack the racks as high as possible. The cork ends of the lower bottles may even fit between the cork ends of the bottles above them, allowing you to stand them upright.
The actual temperature isn't shown on the screen. I used a digital thermometer to check the temperature in the fridge, and it was within 0. The display reading is within 1 degree of the set temperature.

When the wine cooler arrived, it was simple to unpack and set up. We are pleased with it and see no reason not to highly recommend this purchase once everything is in place and the temperature has been set.
After a while, the line gave up. I knew it wouldn't be worth $600 to fix it, and technology has advanced wine coolers to new heights. Because of the low price, I was concerned that this unit would be of poor quality; however, despite the fact that it is still relatively new, I am very pleased with it. I was concerned that it wouldn't hold enough wine, and while it doesn't hold 32 bottles of real wine, it does hold 24 bottles, which is more than enough for my immediate needs in my wine cellar. It arrived promptly (5 days), was well-packaged, and appears to be in excellent condition. I prefer wines that have been aged for at least five years, and I keep my best wines in this built-in unit. Setup and temperature control are both simple. It's a fantastic deal in my opinion, and I have no reservations in recommending it. I'd be satisfied and order the same unit if it only lasted three years. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't last at least three years. It's ideal for what I'm looking for.
The cooler was delivered in good condition and was well-packaged. The sound level of this cooler is 36 db, well below the 42 db listed in the description, and it fits perfectly into the opening in the kitchen island. The wooden shelves are the only negative aspect of this cooler. My other (expensive) cooler had fully suspended wood shelves, similar to those found in a file cabinet drawer. The cooler's shelves are simply supported by plastic supports molded into the cooler's side. When you pull out the drawer, it tilts abruptly (likely for wine presentation), but it also poses the risk of a bottle becoming dislodged and falling out of the cooler. br>br>Temperatures appear to vary a lot, but only by a few degrees. br>br>Aside from that, it's an excellent cooler.
The cooler is fine; it has a nice appearance and is quite quiet. The storage is a disaster. If you aren't careful, the bottles will fall out of their nests and the shelves will come loose. The bottom shelf's larger bottles clash with the shelf above them. This is a terrible design.
The unit as a whole is appealing. This cooler has a nice appearance and is easy to store. It saves space in the fridge and eliminates the need to go outside to the outdoor kitchen to choose a bottle for a meal.
I am extremely happy. Exactly as it was described.
This wine refrigerator is ideal for our kitchen. We needed a replacement for our old wine cooler, which had broken. This one has a lot of silence. It has a nice appearance. For your wine, you'll adore it!.
It has a nice appearance and is of good quality.
