Disney DCM-502 Mickey Mouse Oval Slow Cooker with 20-Ounce Dipper, 5-Quart, Red/Black

It's adorable, but it's a little smaller than I anticipated. I have a regular slow cooker that we use all the time, and because I wasn't sure how big it was, I filled it to the rim with 4 quarts of water. Although the Disney slow cooker is supposed to hold 4 quarts, it is significantly smaller than my other slow cooker. I doubt my roast and potatoes will fit as nicely, but I'll keep it and use it for something else. It's very cute, and only time will tell how good it is. If I notice anything out of the ordinary, I'll update my review.

So, when I went to buy this gift for my friend (I know, almost every review I write is about a family member or a friend, but I'm doing Christmas shopping, so almost everything will be a gift), I had this in mind. ) But, in any case, I bought this gift for her, expecting it to be small for some reason, but it turned out to be much larger than I had anticipated, which I shouldn't have been surprised about given that it's a crock pot. Regardless, I adore, adore, adore this present for her, and she'll be blown away.

The crock pot is beautiful, and the paint job is excellent, but the burnt smell it emits every time we use it is a nuisance. We decided not to wash in the washing machine because the lid handles appear to be very fragile and are likely to break soon. It regulates temperature without causing significant changes. Because of the odor and the flimsy handles, it only gets three stars.

I loved having a small one, especially one with a Marvel-licensed design. I recently decided that I needed a second large cooker and went online to see if Marvel had one. Unfortunately, they do not, but there are a number of large cookers available from licensed brands. I ordered this set because it came with the smaller pot and was available for less than $50. br>br>The big cooker is fantastic! I used it to make a large pot of chili, and it turned out exactly like it does in my Hamilton Beach cooker. There are no settings on the small cooker; it only has an on/off switch. Because it's only a warmer, that's fine. It kept gravy hot for a long time and could also be used for dips. Also, both pots are adorable! br>br>Overall, I'm very happy with the collection. I intend to replace my other large cooker with something more entertaining, such as this one.

The design is adorably cute and perfectly matches my theme. If I do say so myself, I'm a little obsessed. However, it pales in comparison to my Hamilton Beach Crockpot, which evenly cooks all foods in a timely manner. Slow cooking is the name of the game in this Crockpot. I've used it several times and always get the same result; for example, to ensure that potatoes are nice and tender, I cook them on high for about 10 minutes. I don't mind working 12-hour shifts, so 12 hours isn't a big deal. I haven't yet used the smaller crock, but I plan to do so soon!.

It was a little smaller than I had hoped for, but I didn't mind because I loved it so much. This purchase was a great deal because of the smaller crock. I'm looking forward to using it as a nacho dip refill this football season. The design is enjoyable to look at.
