While my engineering husband would love to use this pot to cook Shabu Shabu, our vegetarian daughter has a different idea. He brought the water to a boil (16 minutes), dropped red food coloring in one side to test whether it would drift to the other side, but it couldn't. Keeping the red on the right means we can make vegetable broth on one side and cook meat on the other side.

The Shabu Shabu Pot looks very much like the one we had at our table in Hawaii at a Shabu Shabu restaurant. It was a wonderful dinner experience right after I bought it, though I am not sure how much use we will make of The room is big enough to comfortably fit four people. There are several compartments inside each container allowing for two separate recipes which are good for serving two easily, each from a separate loves soup in general, and this is a great way to eat veggies, seafood, and proteins all in one dish. Taking care of the power supply is the only thing that must be done. The table was reached with the help of a heavy-duty extension cord. Diners must be warned to keep the cord out of the way of the cord. Our family has since purchased some soup bases that we will attempt to make at some point. Even so, there are many recipes that can be adapted to use in this device. It was a more adventurous way to prepare dinner I recommend this for smaller adult get-ups We are together.
