Prior to adding soup base on each side, I had filled each glass up to 6 cups of water. For every cup of water, I probably had approximately two inches left.
There is a weld on the divider.
Due to the fact that the hot plate is on both sides of the pot, the whole thing will heat up. If you are not going to use both sides, stick with a single pot
It's easy to clean, it heats up quickly, and it works perfectly. Since I purchased it about a month ago, my family and I have used it five times. This is a favorite among everyone.

My friends and I had a great time using this hotpot in the past winter. I have had little trouble with the pot heating up and having no problems using I only have a slight problem with the pot in that I have to be careful when aligning it with the base. In addition, if it's misaligned, it will probably still heat well, but once it's started you'll find it very hard to move the pot, so make sure you align your pot before putting it into the oven!.
The "pot" was so thin and flexible, it easily bent and was easily dented.
However, my lid handle did not come with the product. This item was not in the package, which was very disappointing. Fortunately, I was able to contact Aroma customer service, and they sent the entire lid at no charge It is an annoyance, but it can be fixed. The product appears to be of good quality otherwise.
The hot pot we ordered was absolutely delicious. There are quite a few of them. Dinner was for four, though we were pushing it by having 6. I think a different set-up would have allowed us to have six (although we were pushing It does seem like the heating was uneven, but not so bad that it caused us to have problems. It heats up quickly and looks great. There was a little bit of uneven heating but it wasn't enough to adversely affect our stay.
This product is very easy to use, challenging to clean, and has a very obvious uneven heat distribution. The Customer Service department never responded to help me resolve my issue, so I'm not sure if I received a defective product or not. This would mean that one side would boil much quicker than the other so you would have people eating while others waiting this would also mean that one side would evaporate much faster than the other so you would have to be more actively controlled so the pot does not burn. I agree with the previous statement that the lid seems to be of good quality, but the pot itself appears thin and light.
Last night I had Thai and Korean hotpot, and it was delicious! Don't use the pot on anything else other than the original electric heater that came with it. There are three prongs on the plug, so your extension cord or outlet should have three prongs as well.
The temperature can be controlled easily and the system works perfectly.
Pot is one of our favorite things!.
