Questions & Answers
I just received mine yesterday, and it came with all of the listed accessories. The fryer basket with stand, a metal plate for cooking two foods at once, and the air fryer's safety lid. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.
It cooks slightly slower than a traditional air fryer (I have to add 1 minute) and has a smaller basket. Aside from that, nothing has changed. Now that I have this, I'm going to sell my old air fryer. I'm in a good mood right now.
Simply place them in the machine and turn it on! There is no need to preheat!

I'd recently purchased a 3quart air fryer, but I liked the idea of returning it and doing everything in my instant pot. I was also pleased to discover that the air fryer mechanism is branded with the Instant Pot's logo and was specifically designed for it. I happened to come across this while it was still available and purchased it! This is absolutely incredible! br>br>I did some quick comparisons between air fried chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks using this lid and my other air fryer, and they both came out the same! There are a couple of distinctions to keep in mind: br>br>1 - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov The air frying basket that comes with this lid appears to be a little narrow, whereas the one that came with my air fryer is a little wider and longer. This lid, on the other hand, comes with a rack, allowing you to air fry on two levels! That excites me. br>br>2 - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov You don't have to use the air fryer basket that came with the lid if you don't want to. Any oven-safe item that fits in a regular pot (or the stainless steel pot that comes with the instant pot) can be used. I'm looking for a multi-rack that will fit inside this thing so I can use it as a dehydrator rack. br>br>3 - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov On the lid, there's a "turn now" button. It's a nice little halfway point reminder (which is much easier for me to remember than remembering to do so). br>br>Another advantage is that the features that people miss about the duo crisp (cough cough, yogurt function) aren't things I have to sacrifice just to have an instant pot that air fries. br>br>The only "con" is that you can't use the lid while the instant pot is plugged in. In fact, the lid's plug has a webbing-like feature that prevents you from using the other outlet plug. That shouldn't be an issue if you're air-frying things, but if you're doing something like dehydrating, which takes a long time, you'll be without a plug. br>br>I'm really looking forward to trying out new things! br>br>Minor revision: One drawback is that, unlike a traditional air fryer, there is no easy way to transfer food from the air basket to a plate. To remove the food, use tongs or a spatula, or lift the basket out of the instant pot liner with oven mitts.
I only got it yesterday, January 19, 2020, so it's a poor choice. It appears to be a high-quality product, similar to my Instant Pot Ultra. I looked over the instructions and then went to YouTube to learn how to make sweet potato fries. It was simple to use, and the fries tasted great. Having said that, this is most likely not the best method for "air frying. " br>Why am I saying this? br>Normally, I do more research before ordering a product; however, this time, it was an impulse purchase after reading somewhere that Instant Pot had recently announced it, based on my excellent experience with Instant Pot Ultra and a quick glance at the positive reviews of this lid on Amazon. However, as soon as I received it, it "hit me" that this is only a half-finished product. It takes up the same amount of space in my kitchen or cabinets as a full air fryer, thanks to the lid and its accessories. It's the same price as a standard air ticket. I can't use my "Instant Pot" and a deep fryer at the same time. As a result, purchasing a stand-alone air fryer may be preferable.
It was perfect for the two batches of chicken wings and fries I made. The chicken wings were crunchy and juicy, and the fries were even better than the deep-fried version! I also tried my hand at making crispy brussel sprouts, which turned out to be a hit. br>br>The fryer circulates air well and heats up quickly enough to crisp the food. Lifting the lid to check on the food is simple, thanks to the included plastic pad on which you can rest the lid while it's still hot. Keep in mind that this air fryer is only compatible with a limited number of instant pot models, so double-check to see if yours is one of them. br>br>So far, there have been no issues with this air fryer lid - My instant pot has become a staple in my kitchen. to as well as the most frequently used kitchen appliance! I'm very pleased with this purchase and am looking forward to putting it to use.
The airfryer is fantastic in and of itself, but after a few uses, the instant pot stops working. When it comes to pressure, it counts down and beeps when the food is ready. When I opened the lid, the food was still frozen, as was the rice water. br>br>I emailed their support about it six days ago and have yet to receive a response. br>I then tried calling, but after 40 minutes of waiting online, I had no choice but to hang up. br>I have yet to receive any assistance. br>br>DO NOT BUY.
I just received this in the mail and decided to try it out. I air fried frozen french fries for 20 minutes at 400°F. It reminded me to toss my food halfway through the cooking cycle with a beep. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. br>br>The lid, basket, basket case, dehydrator pan, instruction and warranty manuals, and a base for the lid are all included in the box. So far, the cost has been well worth it. br>br>In the near future, I'm going to try roasting and dehydrating!.
It was well worth the money. I purchased it with the expectation that it would not function - nah. It comes with everything you need to get started, and the first night I used it to make frozen fries that tasted like they were from a restaurant. You will not be sorry. br>br>By the way, I've heard it doesn't work with the 8 qt, just to let you know.
Since receiving it, I've used it three times and am about to use it for the fourth time. I used to have a separate (cheap) air fryer. Everything had to be a single layer that could be turned over and over again. For my family of five, this meant that any meal I prepared took more than an hour. You can put these two things together if you turn them around a little. When it comes to chicken, the ability to pressure cook first and then air fry is fantastic. I simply adore it in general. My favorite kitchen tool was already the instant pot, but now it's even better with this lid.
If you're on the fence about purchasing this, I strongly advise you to do so. "I got mine the other night. " This morning I cooked WW air fry donuts. It's so simple. Yummy!.
