Although there is no hot air or smoke coming out of the back, there is hot air/smoke coming out of the front. So I put it under a hood to vent, and you want to keep it away from anything that doesn't like heat in the back. Because it's essentially an oven, the heat and smoke from the food must escape in some way. The heat is better trapped inside for cooking because it is generally much more tightly enclosed, which is one of the reasons why this thing is more efficient than an oven.

In March, I bought a GoWise airfryer. Since then, I've had nothing but positive experiences with that device, until it stopped working after only two months of use. I contacted GoWise team support to see if I could get a significant discount on the device's repair or replacement shipping. The best offer came in the form of a $25 discount coupon. My point here is to express my opinion that if you are trying to decide whether or not to buy a product, five-star reviews provided by customers who purchased that product may not be the only or best basis for decision, but the duration of the guarantee that sellers / manufacturers offer would be better. If they only offer a one-month guarantee (as in the case of my GoWise airfryer), it's most likely because their quality control department believes the product will fail within that time frame. Choose sellers/manufacturers who offer longer guarantee terms because they demonstrate a higher level of confidence in the products they sell. A kitchen product, in particular, should not be covered by a one-month guarantee. Nobody buys a stove, a pan, or a refrigerator with the intention of using it for a month only.
With today's technology, GoWise appears to be on the verge of developing a non-chipping basket coating. It's even expected to peel, according to them. That is why they only offer a 30-day warranty on the basket itself. Cleaning this was never done with abrasives. All you need is a sponge and some soap and water. It's a good thing my skin started flaking off before that, because it's time to put it back on. I have a small one from another manufacturer that I received as a gift for Christmas and it is still in excellent condition. It was only a matter of getting a bigger one. I'm returning this one because I don't want black paint chips in my food, and I'll never buy another GoWise product again; however, if you like black paint chips in your food, this is the one for you! This manufacturer has disgusted me.
The stick coating began to wear off quickly. I assumed they were scrubbing it too hard during the cleaning process. Well. I've only had this item for a little over two weeks and have only used it twice; I hand washed each time with a soft non-abrasive cloth after each use. sponge that is abrasive And, while I like how it cooks, the removable basket and pan are both beginning to flake non-stick. a coating that sticks that is poisonous I suppose you get what you pay for, so I'll be on the lookout for a better air fryer. I'm glad I'm still within my return window because this piece of garbage is being returned!.
This is my first time using this device, and let me tell you, I'm impressed. I'm a big fan of what you've done so far. The sweet potato fries were tasty, and my chicken tenders were cooked to perfection: crisp on the outside, moist on the inside. I'll be using this fryer again. Period. I live in a nice, but cramped, basement apartment with little natural light. It has an open range, but the first time I tried to cook dinner with traditional pots and pans, it was clear that the small exhaust fan was incapable of removing all of the steam and pungent odors from my food. br>br>So, I bought this air fryer solely to avoid my food emitting an excessive amount of steam or odor. But, for a variety of other reasons, I discovered that it is the best cooking tool I have ever used. br>br>Why I adore this item: br>br>When it is used, it emits almost no steam or overpowering odors. br>br>Because the food is cooked without oil, it is healthier for me and easier to clean. br>br>It's small, doesn't take up my entire counter top, and looks great; it even improves the appearance of my kitchen. br>br>It's incredibly versatile; I can cook almost anything in it, and I can do two things with it at the same time. Cooking is a breeze with this fryer! The coating on the pan and the fryer basket is very poor, which is why I gave it a two-star rating. After a few uses, the coating wears off, causing all of the food to stick to it and rust to form. I've had it for about 9 months, and after about 2 months of use, the coating began to wear off. When I contacted the company, they informed me that they only offer a 30-day warranty. They said I could buy a new pan and fryer basket, which I'm fine with doing as long as I know I'll get the same results and poor service.
I'm going to reduce the star rating on my post from two to one. I contacted customer service via email and informed them of my peeling paint problem. They informed me that I would need to purchase a new basket because it was damaged. They said it didn't matter how many times I used the basket. They have no intention of replacing it, but I am welcome to purchase a new basket. br>I bought it in February of this year. It's a substantial amount of space. My biggest complaint is the low quality of the nonstick coating, which I've used about 8 times with chicken as my favorite. The coating has started to peel off after only a few uses. I'm at a loss for what to do next. Nonstick coating is not something I like to eat.
