Home Depot provided a free replacement Magic Chef after we returned the unit for not keeping food cold. It is a mistake to buy a wine fridge and expect it to keep your beer and soft drinks cold enough, as I have found out. In most wine fridges, the temperature does not drop below the low 40's, which is fine for wine but not cold enough for all other drinks. The Avallon is the right kind of thermal garment because it gets down to 30 degrees like a heater. Furthermore, this model has an enormous capacity and look very high end with its quality stainless steel, glass shelves, and blue or white LED lights. A unit like this will not disappoint you if you are in the market for one. The following update I've been using it for six months now and it continues to work I am still in awe of how many things this "little" fridge can hold and it gets compliments every time we have guests over. In addition to two cases of beer, a case of soft drinks, a dozen sports drinks, a dozen Capri Suns, and a dozen Frappuccinos, there are still 5 or 6 large bottles of Pellegrino laying at the bottom at any given time. I can easily fit all that into it, and it doesn't look crowded. This fridge has a tremendous benefit, which is that by keeping all of our refreshments in it, it frees up a lot of space in our main refrigerator so things don't get cluttered up.
