The price is reasonable, and the glass is of good quality. When right side up, it holds liquids, but when upside down, it spills them. There are no visible inclusions or chips, and the color is consistent.
It's lovely, and it'll go great with my cider samples! I'm looking forward to slapping some labels on them and handing them out.
I had a few batches of home-made cookies. I wanted to package some lemocello/arancello that I had made. Have to make use of half- swing of a liter I wanted to try a smaller bottle than the top bottles. These are exactly what I needed. The glass in the body of the bottle is a little wonky, as if the thickness varies a lot or something, but it's not noticeable once it's filled and doesn't appear to hurt anything. used with.
I gave these as wedding gifts, and they were a big hit. We filled these with leftover wine from kegs, corked them, and labeled them with custom 2x3 labels as parting gifts for our guests. They appeared to be well-dressed and well-mannered. Keep in mind that these only hold half of a standard wine bottle and have long necks.
Out of the 24 bottles I have, one is broken. Before it arrived today, it was noted as damaged in my tracking system. They must have heard it was broken because the majority of the broken pieces were removed. It's aggravating that, as far as I know, the only way Amazon will help is if I return the entire box, including the remaining bottles, which I need this weekend. I expected to get 24 bottles for $50, not 23. br>br>On a more positive note, those are some nice bottles! Perfect for making homebrew and giving as a nice-looking gift.
They are extremely effective. I also used oil paints!.
