These bottles were purchased by me. They're fantastic. However, I purchased nine corks, which were too large. I'll need to order a size 7 or 8.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The wine bottles are a darker green than the ones in the picture. They appear to be a different color due to the lighting in the photo.
B0064OM39M is a product number that can be used to identify a specific item. that ASIN is the same size bottle in red, but it is dipped red rather than red glass (I've heard that red glass is nearly impossible to make).
Thanks. The bottles are made of green glass and are not painted.

The bottles were delivered in a timely manner. Given the shipping delays caused by the pandemic, this was much faster than I anticipated. The bottles were in excellent shape when they arrived. br>If you can call it that, each bottle has the same flaw. It has to do with how they were constructed. When you hold them up to the light with nothing in them halfway down, you can see a wave, and each bottle looks the same in that regard. The wave pattern is in the glass, and it has no effect on the shape of the bottle. It has a standard shape. The glass appears to be solid and heavy. br>The bottles are dark green, not the light green shown in the photo. Translucent are the light green ones in the photo. The color of the bottles I received is nothing like that. They have a hunter green hue to them.
I'm giving this a 4-star rating because the product description claims that the bottles can hold both 8 and 9 corks; however, while this is technically correct, 9 corks don't fit well enough in these bottles, so don't try. 8 corks should be used.
But. I've been using the bottles for two years to bottle my wine, and they're fantastic. What I don't like about this delivery, and what I don't understand, is why I have to sign for it. UPS came and left because no one was home today, and I needed the bottles. It doesn't make sense to be that way. These are wine bottles that have been emptied. Ugh.
I like the color because it blends in better with my potted flowers. I used to use old wine bottles, but I have a bit of OCD and prefer the consistency. ) If/when I order more plant nannies, I'll be ordering these as well.
They are standard for all other 750 ml bottle orders, and the $21 (tax) price is the best I could find. I haven't finished bottling my wine yet, but I ordered my bottles from "The Grape and Granary, Inc" yesterday morning, and unlike my previous supplier, they shipped right away, literally the same day, whereas the other place I used, Northern Something, took several days to ship my previous four orders. These bottles are nearly identical in price and quality to the previous orders, but not only did they ship quickly, but because The Grape and Granary, Inc is so close to me, my order arrived today, despite Covid. Thank you for your business, The Grape and Granary, Inc. I hope to do business with you again in the future.
This set of bottles is acceptable. I bought it as a back-up because my preferred bottles were late and I needed to fill orders. They don't include corks, which is a bummer! I bought the recommended eight corks (which will be reviewed separately) and they worked perfectly. These are also more expensive than my preferred bottles, which have a twist cap and North Mountain Supply caps. As a result, there are other options.
The color is a lovely green that is semi-transparent. Now it's just a matter of figuring out how to locate the missing bottle.
I ordered these twice, the first time they were perfect, and the second time one had shattered in shipping, despite the fact that the container was in perfect condition. These are what I use for herbed olive oil, and they've held up well to hot oil and subsequent cooling.
