Questions & Answers
In checked luggage, we haven't gotten very far.
There is no mention of four bottles in the current description. All of these responses were given in 2016, of course. I'm curious if the answer has changed since then, because everything I've read so far suggests a single bottle, with the exception of the image. Can anyone who has placed an order for this item in 2021 provide an answer to this question?
Yes, you can pour; simply hold the bag from the bottom to the top by the opening where the bag's seal is located. br>Avoid squeezing or holding the bag in the middle.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. Because they have a screw-on cap, you can fill them with soapy water and then rinse them. We didn't use them again.

On a three-night backpacking trip, I used these to carry two bottles of wine and one bottle of scotch. They were stuffed into my 65-liter multi-purpose bag. They worked great in my daypack, and I was able to stuff them tightly around my bear canister in the gaps in my pack. Over 5000 feet of elevation change, a two-hour drive down 4WD roads in the back of a truck, a five-mile hike, and a group of rowdy drinkers, they held up admirably. The best part is that they're light and easy to pack empty when you're ready to leave. br>br>However, once they've arrived at their destination, they've proven to be extremely difficult to clean. I followed the cleaning instructions and used a soap and water rinse, a very light bleach solution, water, a warm/hot water rinse, and let it air dry for two days. They're clean and sanitary, but they still have a strong scent of scotch and red wine. I'll use them for backpacking again, but if you're a purist, you might want to consider something that won't mix aromas and flavors because it's easier to clean out.
I bought these portable wine carriers because they can hold a full regular size wine bottle and will keep the wine cold for two hours if frozen. 3 hours is a fantastic gift, and it's also ideal for traveling without having to deal with a glass.
I double-checked the lid, tightened it, and slid it back onto the bathroom counter on its side. It had leaked again on the counter when I awoke the next morning. Regrettably, the bags are adorable and can hold a full bottle of wine, but they leak, making them unusable.
These are incredible! If you're going somewhere where glass isn't allowed, these are ideal! We used wine or mixed drinks and poured them in them. br>We put them in a backpack with ice and carried them around all day; they were extremely durable.
During the first use, three of the four bottles escaped from the bottom. Fortunately, the bottles were kept in a container in our suitcase, so no wine was spilled. I'll seek out a higher-quality wine bottle bag.
It was an excellent solution. In a suitcase, it's used to carry liquids. They didn't seep through the cracks.
I make my own wine and took it on a camping trip with me. They didn't leak or absorb any of the cooler's water. They received positive feedback from our group as well. For our next trip, I'm going to get some more.
