The snow ball syrup was a disaster because I used them to stir it. Stirring hot or hot-looking substances with these won't be a good idea.

It is a good brewer's spoon for reaching into the carboys and these are perfect. They are very easy to clean and use, they are sturdy and should last for a long time. The shorter spoon I bought a bit earlier is still looking great after about 3 years. Having a small end which fits into a glass carboy to mix in is my favorite thing about these. It won't scratch the glass, and as it's plastic, it won't damage it either. My friends have told me how much they like them, and I recommend them.
In a few minutes, I will have my tool I needed a long tong for degassing my 5 gallon carboy, which I had a belt together for homebrewing. These products are distributed by brew companies, so I thought the diameter of the mouth of the carboy would be adequate to know. There was no spoon or paddle in the mouth of the carboy, as it turned out. The handle features a small paddle that makes it a bit more manageable A hanging ring is an example of this. Since I was using the handle as the stirring and degassing paddle, I just used it as such. I recommend them because they are affordable and work well. The FOH paddle/spoon set is a functional option for anyone looking for a functional set. You should just watch how you are going to use it.
When you warm up the paddles, the handles become very flexible, and this drives up the price for these. You run the risk of the handles being too bendy if you have a deep mash tun, such as with a mash and brew/robobrew/beverage cooler. As long as you're not using something too deep they should work.
Using the folding aerator for carboys really is the best option. I probably could have used the flat one instead of the spoon because the spoon isn't much of a spoon and I think the flat one is more efficient at stirring and aerating. I have no problem using either, they are both of great quality and resist bending.
Would like to see they had a bigger paddle area for their length, and that they were a little bigger.
The product works well, though it is a bit flimsy other than that, it does the job.
