Questions & Answers
These bottles are made in China, and I hope that this information helps you to answer your question.
Yes, this is possible. These are what I use to ferment kombucha. Simply leave a small amount of room for growth.
Another method is to place them on the bottom rack of a cold oven, turn it on, and set the temperature to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Set a timer for 20 minutes once the oven is up to temperature. Allow the bottles to cool in the oven after the timers have gone off. You are not required to remove the silicone gasket, but you may do so if you so desire. Just make sure it's thoroughly cleaned before putting it to use. As soon as you can, fill the bottles.
When the top is closed, the bottle measures 10 1/2 inches. Without the top, the height is 10 inches.

My only piece of advice to anyone who comes close to this product is to OPEN SLOWLY. I found out the hard way that if you just let it pop and don't hold it down to slowly open it, the entire lid/metal device can fly off and you'll be left with a useless bottle. Also, doesn't that sound like it could be dangerous to your eyes? Yes, I got lucky and kept both of my eyes, and I emerged a wiser bottle opener with a flip top. I'm sure I described everything horribly, but I hope it was useful to someone.
These are fantastic for crafting. vinegars and oils that have been infuse liquors made at home Perfect for giving as a gift!.
Bottles that are easy to use and that are of good quality.
I've used these bottles for secondary fermentation of my homebrew kombucha a couple of times now and have had no issues. I've had no leaks with the bottles because they can easily hold the carbonation pressure. Extra seals were also included in the box, which was a nice touch.
Very well-made!.
These are lovely and can be used to make kombucha.
The seal is excellent and the glass is thick. For my kombucha, I love these.
The bottles are sturdy, and the thick glass makes them attractive as gifts. The cap also has a secure fit.
